No, that would be standard proceedure. What confusses me is all that they are giving the media. This is a Military installation, not the block down the street. Why would they bring in civilian police or FBI right away? This all sounds like a set up to me.

I was in the AF in the 80's. I watched many things that did not even make local news. You think terrorists were not around back then? ha

This Major Hasan cat that shot all of those people on Ft. Hood is not only a doctor, but specialized in Disaster Psychiatry. In other words, he was presumably there to "help" other soldiers with PTSD and the like. WTH?

So, because one woman claims there is an MK-Ultra seeding site near Virginia Tech, that must explain all of the horrific things that have happened there, right? And Hasan graduated in 1997. Twelve years ago. I wonder how many ghastly people graduated from the University of Washington, Ted Bundy's alma mater? I mean, there must be a secret government installation near by that's making people murder and rape. Oh yeah, Amanda Knox, the young woman who murdered her roommate abroad; she's also attended UW! Two high-profile murderers from the same school! It's a conspiracy!

In all seriousness, Virginia Tech is a gigantic school. It hosts an average of over thirty-five thousand students a year. Let's do some math. Ten years between Hasan and Cho... that makes... over 350,000 students. Maybe I am too dimwitted to see some kind of diabolical connection here other than the fact that they went to the same school and wound up being pretty good examples of human filth.

Eerie profile this one. A doctor.

Some parallels a couple years ago when two Muslim doctors upset their car bombs in London hadn't gone off, went on a suicidal rampage ramming a jeep into Glasgow airport. They tried to throw gasoline bombs into the crowded departure lounge but were stopped. One suicided dousing himself in gasoline and setting fire to himself.

It's just an odd coincidence. It may not actually mean anything, but it could mean some sort of secret brainwashing cult at VA Tech. These two just couldn't handle the pressure. They snapped at different times.

Maybe it is time for legislation limiting the military from forcing reinlistment. It seems like once a person has agreed to military service that their servitude is forever and they are never allowed to say no, no matter how it destroys their personal lives. Soldiers are citizens too. They have a right to life liberty and the persuit of happiness. If they sign a contract for a certain number of years, probably three, then they should be allowed to say no after that.
