MILAN — An Italian judge found 23 Americans and two Italians guilty Wednesday in the kidnapping of an Egyptian terror suspect, delivering the first legal convictions anywhere in the world against people involved in the CIA's extraordinary renditions program.
The Americans, who were tried in absentia, now cannot travel to Europe without risking arrest as long as the verdicts remains in place.
Former Milan CIA station chief Robert Seldon Lady received the top sentence of eight years in prison. The other 22 convicted American defendants, including a former Milan consular official, Sabrina De Sousa and Air Force Lt. Col. Joseph Romano, each received a five-year sentence. Two Italians got three years each as accessories.
some of which are sadly being continued under the current Obama administration.

Explain to me again how you think Obama is any different than Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, Carter? etc etc etc

maybe the fact that you didn't have Obama trying to defend these guys, and negotiate a deal to get them back to america, shows that he doesn't like this crap.
One of the 23 Americans convicted today by an Italian court says the United States "broke the law" in the CIA kidnapping of a Muslim cleric Abu Omar in Milan in 2003.
"And we are paying for the mistakes right now, whoever authorized and approved this," said former CIA officer Sabrina deSousa in an interview to be broadcast tonight on ABC's World News with Charles Gibson.

oh and by the way, the stimulus bill stopped alot of fiscal bloodshed, that could have snowballed into something much bigger. i think people should do a little more research on the economic conditions of the states and localities, before the stimulus. but, that would give credit to Obama, and we can't have that in any discussions, because that would be going against the tide.
