Also recently while researching a paper with my son on the Blackfoot Indians, I saw on their site that one of their tribal members had been mauled by a bear, he is doing well and recovering, but just before 911 this kind of animal attack was happening too, I recall a boyscout was attacked and at least one other occurance else where at the time frame.
