The video is deliberately blurred, the view is only partial, and it lasts for just a few short seconds.
But that is enough for the tantalising question to be raised: Is this the first video footage of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden to emerge in more than two years?
The video, posted on the internet by Al Qaeda's media branch As Sahab, was a taped message by another Al Qaeda high-up, Abu Yahya al-Libi.

From www.dailymail.co.uk...

I do not know were the video is but this is interesting anyway there is no way that is him he is dead has been dead a long time why else would they need to blur it because its not him and they must remember last time when you could clearly see it was someone else's.
Anyway what do you think.
Edit to change title.

THANKYOU

If they have to blur the image it's probably fake or just a picture of some random mullah in Afghanistan.

They're just waving the dead guy in front of us to remind us why we must stay in Afghanistan and Iraq forever.

Looking at the stills for a little you can easily tell it is not him for the simple fact that his beard was gray in the middle on a old shot of him.
And on the new one it is black or dark once gray always gray unless you dye it but would he dye just the bit under his mouth i think not.
What do you think

THANKYOU

No, Tim Osman died a few years back, so I don't think it's his pic.

I wondered why he would dye his beard. Black or Grey beard, this guy is what, about 6'5 tall and thin, not exactly blending in with the crowd.

If they have to blur the image... Hmm I'm torn on this.

Is it for his own protection or are they trying to keep up the illusion that bin Laden is alive when in fact, had he received no (official) medical attention for his health problems, he would have probably been dead, and that the guy in the video is just an actor as to not make the Taliban lose heart- and the War lose its steam, for that matter.

NBC news in 1998 stated that bin Laden had only months to live. I wonder how it came about that they were even talking about him at all in 1998.

bin Laden is either dead, living in a cave, a compound somewhere in Pakistan, or on an secluded island funded by the CIA.

I think he's in a compound somewhere in Pakistan, personally, but I also believe that nothing should be done about it- an awful mess has been made from it and to 'keep the hunt up' will only make the world a far worse place.

I would probably go with the trying to keep the illusion going on this one how anyone can fall for it a just don't know but some do fall for it.
Like i said in a post above remember that other video and they said it was him but everyone else could see it was not why they keep up this charade is unknown.
Thanks for the reply
