I need to start off by saying this is speculative at this point. Also i cant find a high quality of the video myself as most links to the video now seem broken.

Secondly, if someone can send me a copy or a link to a high quality video so i could look into this further that would be great.

Now to the Point.

The time stamp: The time stamp uses standard Arabic (hindu) numerals like we are used to seeing e.g. 0123456789. However, in the middle east, they use a different form of numerals.٠.١.٢.٣.٤.٥.٦.٧.٨.٩.

Is it typical for cameras purchased by middle easterners to have timestamps not standard to them?

Below is a picture of a clock tower in Iraq and you can see the numerals on them aren't standard arabic.

Also, from what i can tell it appears that "al-zarquawi" is reading the paper from left to right, but i cant be sure of it until i see a high quality version of the video. In arabic, they read from Right to left.

If anyone can help to further analyze these points which haven't been addressed yet with the video, we may have more to add to the debate.

I've always had my questions about Nick Berg and what happened to him, especially considering his "connection" to 9/11.

I have the video, but with my crappy connection I doubt I could get it to you, but if all else fails I'm sure we could figure something out.

Is it the high quality vid?

how would we go about trying to transfer?

also any thoughts on the two points i raised?

Any copy I've seen has been the same quality as the one I have. Its at best medium quality.

As far as your points go, with the camera's and date stamps. I think it would be plausible to assume that like just about any other thing from "the western world" that it would be easy to possess a camera that was made/sold somewhere those forms of date stamps are normally used. And would be a possibility that I couldn't just rule out.

I thought there was speculation that the camera used to film this, was also used to film something in regards to Abu Ghraib abuse? Something about watermarks or something, I'll have to look that up to refresh my memory.

As far as his reading, I don't have it in me to watch the video right now so I can't really speculate. But if he were reading from left to right I think it would be safe to assume he's not reading Arabic.

A few years ago, I was looking at buying a new camera while I was at a souk in Bahrain, where they use the Arabic numbers. All of the cameras that I looked at had normal western numerals for the date/time stamp.
