I was married when I was younger-than-average, and it lasted. (I'm not going to tell you how long it lasted, but lets just say its a double-digit
number of years
)
Some say a young marriage is a mistake and it leads to early divorce, etc. I've certainly seen that before. Others say a young marriage is best
because you have more energy to take care of kids, and you are still (relatively) young yourself when they leave the home (if they can ever afford to
leave these days, that is).
Seems like lots more people these days are waiting until their late 20s, 30s, 40s or even beyond to tie the knot. Some think this healthy, others
lament it. And of course many never get married at all and are prefectly happy about that.
I'm not making any value judgements about this issue...obviously everyone is different, and whatever works for you works me. But I was curious about
how others feel about this issue.
