Since the article is primarily about Ryan, I think something should be done to find out why the decision was made to target Ryan for the purpose of getting the Obama ball rolling.
They probably had much more dirt on the guy and threats were probably made, thus forcing him to step down to allow Obama to step in.

No author....no attribution.....no solid trail to backtrack....and some folk write like this is a "smoking gun"....

The researchers then contacted a primary news source named in each of the stories and asked him to complete a survey about the accuracy of the piece. A news source was defined as a witness or participant with firsthand knowledge of the events described in the story. Only "hard," objective errors alleged by the news sources were included, and the study assumed that the factual assessments of the news sources were correct.

The results might shock even the most jaded of newspaper readers. About 69 percent of the 3,600 news sources completed the survey, and they spotted 2,615 factual errors in 1,220 stories. That means that about half of the stories for which a survey was completed contained one or more errors. Just 23 of the flawed stories—less than 2 percent—generated newspaper corrections. No paper corrected more than 4.2 percent of its flawed articles. Slate

Accepting any article, from any media source, as accurate and complete....without performing your own due diligence.....is a poor practice.

I still don't care lol.

It doesn't matter who's the president, all policies will be determined by multi-national corporations.

IF and I stress the IF this is indeed a true statement.. what could possibly come of it? He's already in office, even though I did not vote for him. Congress is solidly behind him....so no impeachment... and He's really got (even with the few dissenters) the Military behind him.

Could this be the setup for Martial Law we all feared under Bush (not saying it is, just throwing it out)???

Ok I don't think anybody has mentioned this here on this thread. I mentioned this once on another thread. It wsa the morning after Obama recieved the prize. The Wife and I were up early with t.v. on CNN.

The story was on with Obama saying he didn't deserve the prize. All of
sudden, they are in Kenya asking citizens if they are proud to have a second native born son as a recipient of the prize. I don't remember
who the first one was, but they were sayig it right there on CNN, that
Obama was the second Native born son.

My wife and I stood there in silence, until it ended. Then I looked at her
and said," well so do you still think birthers are wacked"." I can't believe what I just saw". She carried on out the door to work. I watched CNN
the rest of the morning up to 12:30 sure enough it became another one of the one timers I have seen many times on MSN over the years.
This is the truth as I know it, and that's on my skin and my kids eyes.

Well, I'm not a big Obama supporter, but it is pretty obvious even to me that Jack Ryan caused his own demise...or at least nothing that was in those divorce papers was "false".

Whether or not he could have continued on as the Republican candidate was totally up to the Republicans and Ryan. They could have kept Ryan as their candidate.

And the article was not an "exposé" on Ryan -- the article was written after Ryan quit the race, and the information in it was not new. All the information from the divorce papers had already surfaced in the newspapers a couple of days earlier.

My point is that the story was about Ryan and why he quit the race -- it wasn't an article about Barack Obama. It just seems odd that the term "Kenyan-born" should even be in that article. That's why I think it's possible that the "kenyan-born" part was added by the Nairobi, Kenya newspaper linked in the OP.

Otherwise "Kenyan-born" seems to be a non sequitir in that article. There's no good reason for the original AP author to have included it.

I believe the MSM "not doing their homework" is how this boob got into office in the first place.
Kenyan or not, the Obama administration is a threat to the nation, what with all of the socialists, communists and revolutionaries he has surrounded himself with in the White House.
Mano y Mano, I'd probably like Obama if I had the honor to meet a US President. His Czars and advisors scare the crap out of me.
I grew up in Brooklyn in the 60's, saw the riots and met the people involved, many were good, honest people, making their voice heard.
What we have now is a bunch of radical revolutionaries tearing at the very fabric, if not the soul of this Great Nation.

What would have prompted the author to say Obama was born in Kenya? Are you saying he just "assumed" he was from Kenya for no reason as he wrote that article? Wouldn't he have gotten the facts straight before it was finalized?

[edit on 10/15/2009 by bl4ke360]

Yeah - everybody knows that newspapers never make mistakes. What? "Retractions?" What are these "retractions" you speak of?

Reporters don't get the facts strait before going to press because they either don't care or they purposely want to distort the truth (Fox News).

Why don't you say something, anything that Glenn Beck hasn't said? Where exactly does Beck put his hand to make your jaw flap up and down like that? What scares me is that this country has so many ignorant people with cable access who would sooner shoot a man for walking on their lawn than read a book. Nixon invented the Czar positions and bush had 46 Czars.

You have access to a compendium of all human knowledge at your fingertips and you use it to go to WorldNetDaily and Glenn Beck's twitter page. Ignorance and paranoia are things to be scared of - try being scared of those for a little while. Turn off Beck and use your own brain for a while.

For all of you Americans who think this is a joke - try to get a passport with the evidence that Obama has given of HIS birth, you can't.

Hoax or not a hoax, that is the question but it really doesn't matter where Obama was born. He could have been born on the moon and still be POTUS if TPTB want it so.

The Obamatrons have no need for any facts that relate to him being ineligible to hold the office. The CT's have no need for any fact that might point to him being eligible. Thus your at an impasse, neither side will concede to the other.

The one and only fact that remains is that he is the POTUS irrespective of his eligibility or ineligibility and our electoral system is corrupted beyond repair. Welcome to the real world people, we have the best politicians money can buy. Don't believe it, then check out our special interest groups and lobbyist in Washington DC and follow the money.

However, nice find OP even if it won't change things and besides, who would you suggest takes his place? All you will get is more of the same just in a different wrapper.

QFT Couldn't have said it better myself. The Presidential Office is a HOAX. We have a Diebold corrupt voting process and a media that pushes whoever the establishment wants to get elected.

IT IS ALL RIGGED!! We haven't had a President for the people since Kennedy and we know what they did to him.
Best case scenario for this origin of Birth movement is Obama is removed we get Biden as President. See what is going people Presidents don't matter.

We need to have mass protests and civil disobedience like national strikes, we need a non violent movement where we weed out the provocateurs(masked cia posing as anarchists)

We need a revolution

That probably won't happen but what we can do is take control of local elections and spread information and maybe just maybe we can break the banker tyranny.

Why the need to be so rude? I agree wholeheartedly with what was said and have never seen Beck in my life. Just because someone does not agree with everything you say, think and feel, does not make them ignorant and unthinking. However, castigating them for such may be a reflection on the castigator...if that's a word....
It does not matter who invented the position of czar. Obama's czars and advisors are scary people who hold some of the sickest views I have ever heard outside of nazi Germany. They all seem to be intellectual fools who have no proper feelings, but deep seated contempt and disgust for anyone but themselves. I believe these people are very dangerous and should never be in positions of power. Now you can abuse me for my views.....if that is the highest level you can converse on.

There is one group that has the power to expose it, and that is the group that is hiding it. They are beginning to see that Obama was not what they expected, and are beginning to turn on him. They are the very people who have hidden the news articles, birth certificate, evidence etc.

Didn't the US Supreme Court rule against furthering legal investigation of President Obama's heritage? Seems to me it was unanimous.

that is a good point. are you referring to the bogus birth certificate from the daily kos???
works both ways,huh?
the only problem is , is that the people that think he's not qualified haven't spent over a million dollars to make him show the proof. and the fact that the FBI has no vetting process, and he spent the money to conceal this info, definetly tilts the scales twoard the questionable side.

you noproofers forget he is systematically destroying the country. more reason to be concerned.

i ,like others in this thread, cannot figure out the "move on,nothing here to see" attitude.

Can you cite some source about him spending millions to conceal his identity? I have heard that many times but I still do not know where it actually came from.

Chicken little strikes again! THE SKY IS FALLING THE PRESIDENT IS SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROYING THE COUNTRY RUN EVERYONE RUN!

It's sad to the point that it's laughable.

You see a newspaper article with a headline you like and that's all it takes for proof? Like I stated before, mistakes can happen, people from other countries can write differently, and it all can possibly be complete and utter bull too.

It would make it a lot better if the article had said what Kenyan city, town, or village Obama supposedly was born in. But it doesn't now does it? It would help if we had a byline, like I dunno, just about every other credible piece of journalism that is ever written. But again, it doesn't. It would help if it wasn't over 4 years old written on another continent, but it is.

But taking an article headline and feeding it into this pseudo conspiracy just feeds more fodder to people who believe that Obama is legit to laugh at you. It's pretty much what I do when I read these threads. Laugh at the gullibility of people who think that there is some grand cabal to make Obama king of the world.

I dunno, did it? Which is it? Do we have his school transcripts or don't we? A lot of people who believe this monkey wash say that his school transcripts were sealed. So which is it? Do you have access to his school transcripts which nullifies the argument that birthers don't have access to that information or don't you?
