Logically, if we did have alien tech, how did we get it? The only way I see any nation obtaining alien tech is by them simply allowing us to have it. I don't buy the fact the we shot down a couple of UFOs decades ago to get it.

Obviously, the aliens are way smarter and advance than we are if they are able to get to our little planet in the first place. So when they get here, we shoot them down and reverse engineer their tech? Sorry, not possible.

And if they gave it to us, why would they give their tech to men who would use it for destruction? If they wanted us dead, they'll kill us themselves. It's like one little ant hill going against a lady with a garden hose and poison.

Why does America lose every war it starts ?

There are no winners in war. In war everyone loses, and the U.S soldiers that have fought in wars with another country that began with the decision of our government at such times didn't lose because they give it all they have.

It's not the leader's fighting the wars, it's not your patriotic citizens cheering the soldiers on to get the bad guy. The real winners are the soldiers that give it their all even if they die or reach the goal, either way they 'win'. Again, there are no winners in war. War is always wrong. An evil that unfortunately people are pressured into being part of as a result of threat to their life, family, beliefs, values, morals, principals.

Hmm... loves his humour doesnt he!?

I like the bit of scare mongering he did, warning that we're all in mortal danger. Nice.
A couple of things though... what alien technology? Why does no one ever mention specifics when they claim to know whats going on? You'd think if he was in the know, he'd be able to go into a fair amount of detail with it.

Oh and like one or two others have said, why doesnt the US use any of this technology, specifically when it comes to afghanistan & iraq? Assuming whatever it is could be utilized as a weapon or some sort of defence of course.
Besides, if they did start using this supposed alien technology that wouldnt mean disclosure would have to come... they could easily just claim that we developed it.

It seems like he could be credible, but if he got this info from someone else, good chance it could be a bad source. Who knows?

I don't do a lot of UFO stuff,I can take or leave it.I have seen what I feel was a UFO when I was a kid so i belive there here, anyway this guy is the best I have heard yet but I do belive nothing will come of the speech.I truely wish I was wrong.

What I do reaserch and learn best I can is human nature.I belive Humans are the biggest threat to humans on this world. We will kill anything that we think might take our power from us,anything!...It doesn't matter weather the Alians are friendly or not they are more advanced then humans therefor a threat to power and control of this world. We as a spicies do not have the "will" to change.Wish it were not this way but we have been proving it since the beginning.

I never said we WON every war we had been in, but we certainly didn't lose. We pulled out of Vietnam, had should have never been there to begin with, ... u can't win a war if the people dont support it.

... and we didn't lose the war of 1812, both sides pulled out and signed a treaty, .... although canada treated it as a victory because they weren't invaded.

Why are people so concerned with America ? Aussie's love us, and Brits love us so much they hate us, ... haha.

What a bore! Yap, yap, yap. Repeating the same thing others say with no evidence to prove any of the claims. And you people admire this guy? Yawn!

I'm pretty sure this has been posted here before because I have the same video on my blog site.

While he is no longer Minister for Defence, he still has contacts and receives information that ordinary folk do not have or receive.

I am surprised to see his anger at the surface at the time of this video recording. And that anger tells me he has learnt something especially dreadful. For what it might be, one could view the television series from the BBC called "Torchwood: Children of Men". While it is a fictional story, it is perhaps best to call it a fictionalised story. There are so many real elements in the series that I felt as if every hair on my head was standing straight out in shock.

Our old Defence Minister may have just reason to be angry at the USA's secret government/government/military, but he is likely even more angry with Gordon Brown (or should I say 'Prime Minister Green'?).

i believe it was Clifford Stone who said that in the beginning something to do with our radar system at the time was interfering with their guidance systems which cause some of the first few crashes, they we're forced to make adjustments. it not all that hard to believe they're mortal creatures like ourselves, they can and do make mistakes regardless of how intelligent they may be.

I have not seen any alien tech. It's just all simple electronics. Matter of fact, there really haven't been a lot of new concepts in electronics, just size reduction. Transistors, diodes, etc. still the same items since the sixties.

Metals? Still the same thing. Aluminum, steel, etc. Titanium was used in fast jets. Now it's bicycles. Carbon fiber filaments still being used after 40 years.

If we have alien tech, I don't see it anywhere. I don't see any evidence of it in any government agency. I'd say we don't have it yet. Must be too hard to reverse engineer, or we don't really have the ufos.

Moore's Law
CNN Article

talks about the doubling of tech over the last 50 years and the time line fits, 1955 is around predicted first contact.

you do realise that he has admitted that none of his current views on alleged alien technology are based on anything he saw / read / was told during his tenure at the canadian MOD , dont you ?

he read a book
availiable at all good book stores and spun it out from thier

As one who is himself technologically inept, I can cite a couple of things that I figure ain't from around here...first, MP3 players & memory sticks...how do they get all those gigs on those little doo-dahs? Secondly, that stuff for dental fillings that hardens when you put the blue light on it. C'mon...that can't be for real...must be alien tech!!

They may be mortal but I still don't buy it that our inferior tech can take them down. We can barely get to the moon and they travel across the galaxy and they get shot down? If they could get here, don't you think they've been to many other places around the universe? I think they would observe our planet a along time before just entering. I doubt they would be so cavalier and allow the systems to fail coming in. We would quadruple check every system before going to Mars and that's our closest planet. They are way to smart for us to take advantage of them.

The technology which came from aliens for sure is the chips and the fiber optics.

I can't imagine how they discovered that technology,

Aurgh! Again?! Look people, Corso's book is very entertaining, and if it were true it would be the most important piece of literature in existence. Unfortunately, there is absolutely ZERO evidence of any kind to backup the claims. Look into the story, Corso had very little do to with the book itself. This former minister of defense is basing ALL of his theories on that book. He knows absolutely NOTHING beyond what you or I know. Where do people get this hogwash that somehow he is privy to secret information?
