Project LCROSS - NASA will bomb the moon

Ok this should be interesting..

I have started this thread hoping that we can discuss it as it happens.

Watch it here

www.nasa.gov...

Note how there is no discussing on what is happening, Nasa officials just read from paper. Other words its a totally constructed and probably rehearsed viewing event.

Any thoughts that anyone has whilst watching please post here

Wake up!

Do you really think you are going to see anything?!
Doesnt this say it all
"NASA TV Links for Employees (not available to general public) "
and
"Public Channel"

The only thing we are going to see is disturbance and lag.. and a switch to the studio where they say "we are having some problems"...

Later..

Sorry for that, but we are having radiation problems... we will get back later with a video..

Here it is...

That video will be a blurred video that could be a movie made in the kitchen when a pencil hit a cake!

Its getting interesting now, "Let the force be with you" one guy just said lol

it is nice to hear the science behind the mission. Although they just said there is no danger towards the moon because it happens a few times a month but the difference is that they know where it will be happening this time. That statment dont make sense because if they know it happens a few times a month why cant they use the same science to track and time when these events happen.

Also They just said Hubble will be watching this, Will get some awsome images from hubble

18 earth based large telescope, multiple earth orbiting resources, and thousands of amateur telescopes all pointed at the Moon. I doubt any sort of cover up is even remotely possible.

In this day of age we should have HD Live coverage from a camera on the front of the rocket. Thats how any normal person would broadcast it, but as said we are watching people that are watching it. Which is obvious that they dont want us to see to much of space.

They have already told us that they are recieving 1MBS from technical data so that would be ample to send HD Video! so the tech is there!

I love how these broadcasters who are payed to speak on NASA's "extraordinary" live coverage have to read a script word for word, while explaining basic lunar knowledge. As an American, that's fairly emberassing.

Great images, though. That was so nice of you to try to organize us all into one thread.
Think a few have already been started.

Patience young Jedi's. Its not magic time yet. After the actual impact if we haven't seen anything yet, then I will be amongst the throngs of very upset people, but we have 35 minutes to go until impact.
