Would you like to meet these Cops?

Here's my edited version of the controversial Michael Jackson song "They Don't Care About Us". It fits well with the footage. Ironically, most of the cops that I have personally met have been quite polite and cordial. I think, the point I am trying to make is that the majority of the cops are trying to do a good job, but every now and then, there is someone with an excess testosterone who abuses his power and brutalizes the people he is meant to protect.

We should not be fearful of cops. Unfortunately, the reality is very different.

Sometimes we need to remember this experiment.

It's not just a testosterone thing.

It's a psychological thing.

Watching these videos really frightens me Epitaph25 because I realize that the police I saw in the G20 Pittsburgh videos were becomeing the role they were playing. They ceased to be american citizens and instead turned on their fellow citizens under the guize of following orders. Gassing the college kids pushed me over the edge. I realize now that when TSHTF that anyone in riot gear will be out to kill me if need be. Anyone who would gas a college student would not hesitate to beat an old lady walking with a walker. Serve and protect......WHO??????

Have cops forgotten that there is the letter of the law and the spirit of the law?

Originally in England, Sir Robert Peel, originated law enforcement groups called Peelers which later became known as Bobbies. His intent was to maintain order Not control. Law enforcement officers today are scaring the bejesus out of me in that they forget we are their brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. The day may come when Mr. officer beats me or tazes me because I am a threat to national security because I dont want to take a vaccine.

I will always remember the two days i worked for the police in oxford in england in 1998, two worst days working of my life. The people in that place where absolute trash.

The police seem to attract the serial killer types into there jobs, so i will not bother watching, i can imagine what they do.

I also used to wonder how were the cops able to stay so unemotional during these protests, and didn't mind beating up helpless citizens. Now, I realize that they are programmed to do this during their drills. So, they are prepared mentally to do just this. In short, they are told to treat people like objects, not human beings, and this helps them to carry out the order of their bosses.
