Questions about U2U's *N* and *Y* :)

Hi All!
I've had some problems lately with people not receiving the U2U's I sent.

Question is this:

I just went to look in my U2U's and noticed in the outbox it lists the U2U and then either a *N* or a *Y* to the right of the message.

Does this mean, NO, the message was not sent - or - NO the message was sent, but not read by the recipient yet?

Maybe it's obvious to others, but alas, not me!

I believe it measn read- yes or no.

Ok so they'll just sit there in the *N* mode until read?
