I hear this phrase thrown about all the time and it often brings giggles, so I thought I'd put it out there.
If your friends and family could nominate you to be a "Poster Child" lol...what would it be for?
Me- Internet addiction, and Polar Ice.

Wow, so you are a polar ice girl?

Do you keep it in the freezer like me? I've tried a lot of brands over the years but always come back to the polar ice.

Still thinking on what I am as far as a poster child. Didn't think it would be this difficult.

Oh I could probably make a huge list, as I'm told this stuff on a daily basis...

The poster child for..

Unrealized Potential
Misplaced good Intention
Laziness
Starving Artists
Anxiety

Maybe I'll post more as people give me more feedback.. But my favorite one was one my sister said in the heat of battle a few weeks ago. I went right from being mad to laughing my butt off.

"You know, I don't believe in it, but you could be the poster child for the pro choicers! This is what you COULD have twenty five years into the future!"

I think I'd be the poster child for wanting a bit of peace and quiet.

When I lived in the city I was plagued with noise and would have topped myself just to get some peace.

Out in the country things are different, but not all the time.

This afternoon, after a hard time gardening I finally flopped down on the sofa and actually persuaded my dog to snuggle up beside me, something he never does.

Then, with a cup of tea in one hand and the dog under the other I just sat quietly enjoying the tranquility. Until, moments later, I heard a faint buzzing. And sure enough a walloping great bluebottle flew across the room right in front of us.

That was enough to set the dog off chasing it round the room and once again my peace and quiet was shattered.
