We are to blame

Do we need to blame the government/system/nwo, anymore than ourselves?

Isn't it ourselves that have formed society? Created everything around us, to be what it is now? I swear to my soul, I have been blaming politicians, bankers, city officials, police, teachers, etc. for a long time myself. I have been channeling my anger, my frustration in the wrong direction. You see, when you start realizing that the force bringing down the system is all around you, it all makes sense. The system isn't making the world go round, we are, thus, we are the ones bringing it down now.

Major theft It's on all levels of society, from the welfare-mom/dad that can't work, therefore keeping her/his entire family in poverty, drug abuse and crime, to the well-off financial manager, mingeling money from client-accounts to his/her own in secrecy, to cover up the gambling debt they have accumulated gambling online. Those are just two of infinite explanations to theft.


We can even bring it to the pathetic level of minor thefts from our workplace, such as pens, toilet paper, household chemicals, etc. All items actually exist in this category as stealing exists in all forms of jobs, and the beholder of the job feels the need to gain something more than everyone else, and doesn't even consider it a crime.

Think, how many times have you seen it yourself, maybe even done it yourself?
I have done it. I have seen it many more times than I have done it. But I have stopped it even more times then the two combined.

How do we solve this thing?

We need to be honest, at all times. The first thing that came to my mind when I became honest is that I didn't know anything. I still don't. We are all the same and we are all to blame. If we are not honest with each other we are hurting each other. If we steal from each other we are hurting each other. We can all stop this by just saying NO. Whether it be to ourselves or to each other. We all know when we are doing something wrong, or when someone else is doing wrong in this world. We just need to be honest and stop it right away. The power in the word no is huge, that is why I use it, but other actions can be good to, the posibilities are endless.

Start by being honest though. It's the first step to our world becoming great.

There is an obstacle to that, though. It's an immense one too. Many humans are incapable of empathy, in order to help make the world better, because of the construct of their brain, where in the area of the amigdala hypocampus, as I recall, researchers have found it to markedly differ from 'normal' brains. I believe in spiritual Evil, that is outside of people's choices though, and it takes advantage, and works through the easy routes of expression. So there will continue to be crime and criminals, from the lessest and lowest, to the highest and most powerfull, with their lies and greed, who cannot take what they want, with only honesty.

I am here once again to say that ATS is plagued by absoluteness.

Why must you think it HAS to be one certain group of people? It can be both government and society...but not everyone selectively in each category.

There are a lot of people to blame. But don't say we as in me too, or my family...etc.

My post is about me blaming groups, in the past. But have now realized, that not one or more groups can be blamed. When we take our clothes of and stand in line, we are all the same. I don't know you or your family, but I would never blame you without knowing you. That's why I encourage all to be present and aware in their own world. Helping out for the good of man, by fighting this corruption that is taking a hold of us from the inside. I am sorry if I offend you, but my intentions are good.

Yeah, for being so ignorant and just calling everything a 'theory'... and not realizing that government is NOT natural and has some very interestingly disturbing historic FACTS...

Exactly, my friend. Government like it is now, is not natural. I realized that when I was very young, when the 'system' was put in charge of me, because my parents died. At age 8 I had to take care of myself, because the 'system' failed. So no, government is not a natural thing. I support local village-like 'government', where everybody can be heard, if they have something to say. Thank you.

And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there?

Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, think, and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillence coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well, certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now High Chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence.

Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you, then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.~

Good thread, my friend.

Very much on point, although alot better than what I could provide. When I read it I felt a very strong feeling of being connected to you, and that made me feel a lot stronger, so thank you. I have given you a star and flag for that.

The point I am at now, in my life, seems lightyears ahead of others, but still I feel others are lightyears ahead of me. I often ponder, if we are divided in that sense, since we are all here together, having such different trains of thoughts.
