I live in Australia, so Kevin Rudd is my Prime Minister.

Along with Australian Citizenship and passport, I also hold Irish (birth) and British (decent) citizenships and passports, making me a full citizen of each.

For these, Irish – My President is Mary McAleese, and for British, My Queen is Elizabeth II.

So explain to me, how is Obama my President?

I'm not surprised; Obama does more touring than Aerosmith.

I'm also convinced these charades were exactly what he was hired for - to be the face; not anyone who solves actual problems, or runs or oversees a country, but to appeal to people everywhere.

I hope he really is a puppet, because if he actually is in charge of a country sinking faster than the Titanic and this is his means of fixing the problem, then we're all collectively screwed.

Rio is a friendly town and South America as a whole is certainly is entitled to host the Olympics for the fist time. However, Rio is going to need every last cent of their $14 billion to prepare for this event.

My father in law used to travel to Brazil on business with Goodyear and security was always a top priority, to the point of hiring private security escorts.

For anyone who thinks the Olympics Games are profitable, here is an example of one Olympic city which took 30 very long years to pay off its "Big Owe".

The only people who profit from the Olympics are the corrupt politicians and their buddies who end up with the lucrative bids funded by taxpayer dollars. After all, they're the ones running this entire dog and pony show. Just another stunt to accelerate the bankruptcy of the American Republic.

Personally, I think President Obama's appearance before the International
Olympic Committee is the reason why Chicago was eliminated so swiftly
and decisively.

The IOC guys/gals are very egotisitical. They wanted to send a message
to the USA that said, "How dare you assume that we're easy to sway! We
will not be charmed or influenced by your Obama or your Oprah. In fact,
we'll trounce you good, to show that we're in charge here!"

All of the feedback from IOC members during the past month indicated
that Chicago was neck-in-neck with Rio and Madrid. Something drastic
happened to change this race out of Chicago's favor in the final day, IMO.
