from "Area 51 - the Dreamland Chronicles" by David Darlington

[ Jim Goodall : ] "Ben Rich told me twice before he died: 'We have things at Area 51 that you and the best

minds in the world won't even be able to conceive that we have for 30 or 40 years, and won't be made

public for another 50.' A friend of mine at Lockheed told me: 'We have things in the Nevada desert that

are alien to your way of thinking -- far beyond anything you see on Star Trek.' One time I

interviewed a retired senior master sergeant who had been at Groom Lake three different times as an Air

Force safety specialist. ... At first he was real nervous, but when he warmed up he told me: 'We have things

that would make George Lucas envious.' I know one retired guy who worked at Lockheed for 30

years, most of the time at Area 51 ; he's very proud of what he's done, and he wants the story of the place

to be told so that his grandchildren will have some idea of what he was involved in. In the summer of '86 I

asked him if he believes in UFOs. He said, 'They absolutely, positively do exist !' I said, 'Can you

expand on that?' And he said, 'No, I've said too much as it is.' "

"Things that are beyond anything you see in Star Trek?"
"Things that would make George Lucas envious?"

Those are some very bold claims.
One thing is pretty certain, this guy would be the one to ask about man-made UFOs.
Also, I would assume he would have a fairly good idea if there were UFOs inbound from elsewhere.

I disagree that this isn't evidence of anything.
"Whistleblower" type evidence can get your butt thrown in the brig for murder. Happens often enough.

Also, the quote that is being disputed here gains a little credibility in light of the other thing, at least from where I sit.

I want the Star Trek technology!

Von Braun was diagnosed right after he retired. According to Zorgon, whatever it was he said that got him murdered was said two years before he died, he was diagnosed two years before that. It's ridiculous to make a connection.

Shouldn't all of the Disclosure Project whistleblowers be dead by now?

It would be too obvious to kill all of the Disclosure Project whistleblowers, as that would convince the skeptics too.

No they are only going to kill just enough to convince the conspiracy theorists, but not enough to convince the skeptics...yeah, right, that must be it.

Seriously though, I don't see anything statistically odd about those deaths either.

Of course, I was only stating that such reports are worthy of more than a mere 'passing by conclusion'.

I think it is a major fallacy to automatically assume things before investigating things that could possibly contain more than meets the eye. That is all I was saying.

The reason he was banned is stated on that page... they banned him because he was 'distributing' a video... yet no one asked him if it was his

You're being a jerk, as you're wont to do. I don't have to use your style to respond. It is obvious that it is my opinion.

The OP said: "ATS - what do you think..." and he was addressing the ATS membership. I'm part of that membership. So knock off your silly retorts and personal attacks and address the thread. Don't you feel bad enough having to go home with your tail between your legs?

Hmmm yes but a part that hasn't read the T&C about snide comments and over excessive use of quotes.

Jack Ruby killed Lee H. Oswald and during the six months following the Kennedy assassination, Ruby repeatedly asked, orally and in writing, to speak to the members of the Warren Commission. The commission showed no interest. Dallas Deputy Sheriff Al Maddox claimed: "Ruby told me, he said, 'Well, they injected me for a cold.' He said it was cancer cells. That's what he told me, Ruby did.
