As the UN session continued, RT correspondent Marina Portnaya was verbally abused and harassed by overzealous New York police officers. She was prevented from broadcasting and denied the use of her phone, but was later told she had done nothing wrong.

Was it really necessary to detain her for apparently standing in the wrong place... where many other reporters were also standing? She produced identification and a press pass and then removed by the officer.

Later they admit she did nothing wrong! That just looks bad, really bad.

its well known that russian intelligence pose as journilists.

there is even a phot of putin when he was kgb, near the potus, posed as a photographer.

maybe they were told to look out ofr russians on that paticular day...

Uhh.. Russia is part of the G20, why would the Russians spy on a meeting they were attending
