I was watching Letterman last night, Obama was the shows guest that night. However, while watching the program I couldn't help but 'sense' that the Obama we were seeing was in fact a double. I analyzed his words, and body language to see if he would give himself away. There were a couple of things I noticed. When he was asked questions he looked away often, as if he was in deep thought. Now, the President has been asked these questions numerous times and has had a very firm and confident answer to them. The answers that were given on letterman seemed a bit vague and what you would expect from a double.

Any thoughts or opinions? I'll look for clips of last nights show to post here.

I really didn't get the sense that it was a double watching this video...it's the only one I could find from the 21st. He does stammer, but it's probably because he had body linguists and all kinds of speech therapy to help him out with running in the election. A lot of politicians that don't have the natural ability to use body language and a sort of natural motivational speech tone hire assistance during elections. Afterwards, everything goes to (snip) because they don't care anymore, they're already in office.

He was simply morphing into what an appropriate "night show guest" would act like.

amicable, jovial, thoughtful, not-too-serious, yet humble and truthful...

Obama is the best when it comes to "acting for a part".

If the man deserves any recognition, it should be for "public speaking 101" expert. He's got the voice, mannerisms, and charisma to SELL anything.

Could have been turning away due to halitosis (bad breath) on Dave. Who knows. Maybe he was looking for a teleprompter that wasn't there.

I love how relaxed BO is with the public. He's going to be a great leader. He is a Pres for the people. Spoken by a (R).

Yes, even if it was a double they would insure it was pretty much a 'clone' of Obama. It just crossed my mind, along with all the false allegations sent about possible terriost attacks in NYC

Thanks for the video feed! Still learning the features of this site.

Yes he's a very good public-speaker, let's just hope he has the skills to help the Country.

I agree, subtle difference in appearance than what I am accustomed to seeing.
I think.however, it is the lack of green eye shadow that has tricked my eyes.

Yeah, but, all kidding aside - what's with the seating?

The President looks like a little kid in a grown up's chair with Dave LOOMING over him.

What a crappy set.

It's like, here's Obama and THERE'S DAVE UP THERE TALKING DOWN at him...

lol

peace

Edit: Oh bother, html is doinked.
