I've lived in Wisconsin and during the winter months on the long road trips back to Fon Du Lac from HoChunks casino where I bartended we encountered them on a nightly basis.
And yes full grown bucks do stand quite tall, but they are more meandering and would be more apt to charge a car as I know from repeated experience.
That thing on the video is not a deer.

Nothing I havent experienced before myself.
However thats a relatively small 2 lane road, not a wider 4 laned highway complete with center crashguard divider.
There is an enormous difference in lane widths.
Also that deer in your video lands slightly over the yellow line.
It would take at least 3 more bounds to cross the highway on the original video.

Are you serious? It clears the car in 1 bound(which means it went higher than a normal stride. 2 in a half, while building momentum, would easily have gotten it across the other road. Its not brain surgery. At its increasing rate of speed, it would cover more distance on the second stride than it did on the first.
Throw in that we have no idea how much of a head of steam it built before crossing the 4 lane hwy, and claiming that it is not possible becomes completely moot and ignorant.
Im not saying that is definitively a deer, but it certainly COULD be, and to claim it couldnt is false and silly.

I agree it "runs like a deer." But, to me, it doesn't look like a deer. Did you stop it a couple of times? A deer has a long strong neck, and they keep their head upright. That thing has its head down like a greyhound or a hyena. It also appears to have more human-like hips in the rear. It just doesn't look quite right. I am not saying it is an alien, I think the "gollum" description was pretty close though!
