It could be old war bases, though. Do they have any actual pictures of the underground bases?

Nevermind. Too many seem to discredit the site. I personally haven't heard of it.

There are a few witness accounts describing these "copper cauldrons" and I think like most stories some may have become more elaborate over time.

After a rough translation of the source article (www.yakutia24.ru...), it seems that the alien theory is one of a few being used:

Several versions apropos of structures. Basic - heritage of ancient civilization. But [ufologi] examine the version of the visit of the Earth by newcomers.

So it seems there is something there but unlikely to be of alien origin.
