Cone shaped - Beam of Light - UFO

So, last night, I'm returning from my job. A friend of mine lives in Harleysville, PA. This is in Bucks County, PA. So, I stop to put gas into my car. I'm about to go into the Wawa when I see the UFO sitting in the sky. It was pointing towards Philadelphia. It hung there for a few minutes, and a few people stopped alongside me and were watching it.

This was at night time, with a CLEAR sky. No clouds whatsoever. Yet, with the UFO, there was a mist hanging around the light...

I'm no idiot with UFOs. I've seen multiple UFOs in my life. I definitely know that it was a not a plane, a helicopter, a blimp, or any other kind of object.

It then descended into the sky at a quickening rate.

I did a check on this and let me tell you, DOZENS of people have seen this UFO within last night:

Now, I didn't take a picture, but someone on the second link drew a picture of what it looked like. It's the same exact UFO.



This UFO was spotted in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Ontario, Canada.

Members of ATS, I think what we have here is a genuine mass UFO sighting.

The Charged Aerosol Release Experiment (CARE) was conducted by the Naval Research Laboratory and the Department of Defense Space Test Program using a NASA four-stage Black Brant XII suborbital sounding rocket. Using ground based instruments and the STP/NRL STPSat-1 spacecraft, scientists will study an artificial noctilucent cloud formed by the exhaust particles of the rocket’s fourth stage at about 173 miles altitude.

It was lit up because they needed to take pictures from the ground.

No! Oh, man, what a bummer...

Yeah, I was bummed about it too. I saw all these reports on mufon of a cone shaped beam of light...only to find out later there was a missle test.

Bummer? You get to see a cool show in the sky and you moan about it? I wish I could have seen it.

It was great! Absolutely amazing!

But between a NASA experiment and a UFO mass sighting, I would've taken the UFO sighting

NASA calls it a "test."

I used to live right by Harleysville ....i moved right before all of the UFO stuff started to happen in Bucks a few years ago

I've seen some great UFOs in Bucks County. Some amazing sightings.

The visual aspects of the experiment are a very minor consideration. I don't think "we" would see a lot in the radar and other data which was/will be obtained. But you never know.

Local lad huh? I couldn't believe it when I saw a UFO story in this morning's Courier Times. I'm in the lower end myself but didn't see anything last night. Oddest thing recently was an extra long sonic boom like sound I heard a few months back. Friend told me it was an F-18. There was a long thread about it too.

I was hoping to see a story about a UFO in Bucks County to verify my experience last night, but the article about the experiment and the time it took place doesn't correspond to what happened to me. I live in southern Bucks and slept with my window open last night to take advantage of the cool air. I sleep like a log but about 4:00 am I awoke to complete silence, which is odd in my neck of the woods - no crickets chirping, early morning bird whistles, or animal sounds. The complete silence, in fact, is the reason that I awoke. I know this phenomena sometimes accompanies UFO appearances, so I looked outside for a few minutes but didn't see anything. After about twenty minutes the natural early morning noises returned. Oh well, I guess it was just a random act of nature.
