John Titer...

We are all aware of this lad, has it been debunked ? who knows.

One of his biggest predictions was that the American people will try and overthrow the goverment, civil war i think was the words he used, and it would start slowly and un-noticed at the start.

Are we now seeing this happening ?

i know he predicted this to happen much sooner, but with timelines etc, things (if possible, if true) could have changed.

From here in Scotland, UK, it certainly seems as if there is growing unrest and a build up of anger against the government there.

Am i alone in my thinking ?

Just thought i would get a general thinking here on Mr Titor and his thinking.

You Know he got some wrong and he got some right.

Nothing he ever said was supposed to be seen as "prediction" though. It was all his recollection of his timeline.... Not ours.

Someone once asked him about a poem... the poem was written by soldier in 06....Someone asked him about the Olympics and those happened without a hitch.

Is Obama only concerned about keeping his power base? It was certainly alot of women in that last presidential race of ours....

As for the coming civil war....I don't think you need to be a time traveler to see the reality of the situation.... The last time we had tea parties their was a revolution with in 3 years....

We have ran our course.

Hopefully when it is all over we shall pay more heed to our constitution and God Willing the common man will have some authority of the legislation that shall govern him. Lord knows if we keep on trusting others to speak for us we are just gonna continue the cycle of tyranny....

Time will tell.

I was here, years ago on a different account when John Titor was here.

His ideas on different time lines were awesome, but they also just ensured anything he said never had to become true because he was simply from another time line.

He said these civil wars would happen in 2005, which I think took away his credibility, as his time line was exactly the same all the way up to that year, and there is no way a civil war could have happened that early if all the events were the same.

Not being critical but you may want to fix the thread title

John Titor, not Titer

I think many here have pretty much debunked Titor as even being any other than a hoax.

I myself identified the exact model of his geiger counter he used to "make sure he was safe from radiation" as totally the wrong one to use to measure any level of safe. Instead, the model Victoreen he was using would be useful if he would be measuring exceptional levels of radiation,..ie - too late to be safe levels, and likely dying if still alive while using it.

It is here somewhere in the archives of ATS....





But I imagine the JohnTitor.com website is making some change with their google adverts.

I clicked on your link to John Titor but the site is under some sort of repairs. Do the MODS have his original posts in archives somewhere? I was not a member of ATS at that time so I personally have never heard of him until today. I would just like the chance to read his actual quotes so I can judge for myself if he was real or a hoax. Thanks and looking forward to the archives any Mods can dig up for us newbee's.

Whilst the Titor legend is fantastic reading, one thing that strikes me is that people put him down over dates from his recollection.

People asked him about dates that was 30 years ago in his past as a child. If you were to ask me what happened 30 years ago as a child, I could give you approximate dates and facts but they would probably be wrong or simply just inaccurate.

Why do people assume that because he has a dew dates wrong from over a quarter of a century before, that he must be a fraud?

Well what if it isnt fake? Stranger things have happened. Who knows what technology will be around in the future? I personally dont believe in weird stuff like vampires and werewolves, and Ive never seen an alien but I do believe time travel is possible.

Just look into the name Rick Haber and you should find some answers.
It is believed that he is the culprit.
