Let me get this straight. If your you are half african your mulatto right? So what are you when your asian and white? Wasianatto? Also if europeans mix with native americans why do they call them white? I mean are they not euromericanettos? Did cuba like the americas and the other carribean islands have natives there?

So white+native=white but african + white = mulatto and asian + white = white? Am I missing something?

I was about to say the same thing, although I don't think it has as much to do with political correctness (which pretty much says: "You can't say that" but not why it's wrong) as opposed to having a lot of barriers knocked down that showed us just how similar we really are. There was a time when I'd meet people that hadn't even seen a black person outside The Cosby Show, but the show itself helped dispel a lot of preconceived notions. The kind we get due to simple ignorance. It's about accessibility.

But yeah...our "heroes" have said and done some pretty crappy real life things.

Take Gandhi for example.

Aside from all of his extra-marital affairs with "virgins", Gandhi also refused to let his wife use penicillin when she was sick, saying rely on God instead, and she died soon afterward.

Guess what happened when he got hit with malaria?

I'm sure Jesus was some radical married guy with kids.

This is why I don't do hero/celebrity/religious figure worship, but I do respect the message they gave.

I think you have that backwards:

For ideological reasons, the new socialist regime did not want to stoop to embrace copyright or trademark law, a tool of the capitalist world.
