Maybe this should be called the "ordeal" forum... with all the good stuff going on in the other forums, it's quite an effort to come up with
something for here.
But to get the ball rollin. There are two general areas I'm interested in:
1. economic policy of the Obama Administration:
The confluence of Obamacare push and the beginning of the trade war with China over car tires indicates to me that the way the Obama Admin intends to
deal with US debt is by heating up inflation. So far, boom-era inventories and reluctant spending have kept the US in almost deflationary territory.
Making imports more expensive while jacking up the cost of domestic production seems like the most obvious way to go about achieving inflation.
What are your estimates for this?
2. Catholic Church
There's been recent news on supposed tests done to establish that St. Paul, arguably the founder of Christianity, existed. Why would they be doing
this right now? Is there something about to be released that would argue the contrary?
