You evidently no nothing about science. NOTHING is higher than a theory. It's the highest you can get in science. Perhaps you've heard of the theory of gravity??? Yes, even something sooooo provable as gravity is only a theory! But if you doubt it's accuracy, then I suggest you go to the tallest buiding you can find, go up to the roof, take a step over the edge and see if this 'theory' is not a fact...

Anyway, as to the thread title.. Religious America?? America is about as religious as my tarantula. MOST like to pretend they are religious... but nope. We cant have Merry Christmas or God Bless America anymore. No religion in school or prayer. I kind of wonder if we are actually American anymore since saying the pledge of Allegiance is off limits. Maybe my tarantula is actually more religious than America come to think of it.... And Im god... AKA She who rains down crickets from Heaven.
