If the victim was a girl, she could do the same thing and maybe with scissors too. Theres not much to go on, we don't know if this kid knew it was his mom and if he didn't and was willing at the time, I wouldn't blame him for saying it was rape. If he said he was willing at the time, what kind of hell would he catch for that for the rest of his life. If the woman was very ugly, she couldn't have tricked him mom or not, she would have to threaten/force him but he could still run, still try to get away just as a girl could.

My God, I have limitless sympathy for that poor kid. Imagine how confused he was. Kids can be easily manipulated, cajoled. She is the adult, and is completely at fault.

She's sick and twisted, and due to her actions, this kid will likely grow up to be twisted around. Dysfunction has been had by people with smaller issues than this. Christ, can you envision this poor kid trying to have a relationship when he grows up? How do you get past something like that? It'll stay with him forever.

Some sick people in this world in dire need of morals. If the idea of a higher power can be separated from a notion of god, then morals can be independent of religion. Just sayin'

I'd contest it's pretty easy to rape a guy. An erection is not always something that you can control. Even more so at 16 years old. I'm sure plenty of guys have experienced this.

Religious morals aren't going to supress something like that. This kid may be fine, as he is older. However if a similar event happened when he was 8 years old or even younger, it could of been branded into his psychology, and shaped his impulses.

It's pretty sick what happens, but even the religious people can be pedophiles.

No offense, but I'm not entirely sure you know how things go. It's rather tough to run when you're at knife or gun point.

We can't go around blaming the victims. That is simply wrong, the victims are not the offenders. Laws are put in place to punish the offenders, not their victims. Please take this into account.

Miraj, thats why I said we are not sure what happend. It could have been violent, it could have been a case of hornyness and then the dirty fact getting found out after the dirty deed OR a case of submissiveness and disbelief. The article just points out the wrongness and gives too little information, normally, if a gun, knife or aggressive assult was used, it would say so. Also, when it comes to male teens, it is ALOT harder to rape the unwilling if your a female, the parts just don't mesh well.

If some ugly girl forced her self on you, and did not have a weapon, what would YOU do? Get stiff?

That's true. It doesn't say much of the full details. It very well could of been that he was tricked into sex with her, then later discovered who she was. Honestly, she isn't terrible looking?

If an ugly girl forced herself on me? Depnds on the circumstances. Unless she's got a gun on me, I'm probably looking for a chance to punch her in the face.

Just because a mental health expert is appalled by a crime doesn't mean there's not an underlying explanation either. You can be sickened by something and still understand that maybe there was something that helped influence her to do this.

The boy was a minor, so she committed statutory rape.

It's unreasonable to believe that a boy would want to have an incestuous relationship with his own mother, unless he demonstrated some sort of deviancy (or if his mom was incredibly hot). For a woman to degrade herself to the point of seducing her own son, she must not have the best social skills.

Being that she gave him up for adoption, she must have some sort of autism which makes the tasks of taking care of a child nearly unbearable, and causes sexual deviancy. She was probably emotionally under-developed and sexualized her longing to reunite with her distant son. She might have also been raped around the same age that her son is now. Her sense of personal boundaries might have been distorted a bit which compelled her to stalk him over the Internet.
