BS!!!!
I personally have cut corners and skipped doctors visits and my health suffers because I cannot afford it.
And I am not that poor. I have not had work paid health care ever.
I know I am not alone.
True if I walked into an ER with my arm falling off Im sure someone would help me ... but that is some minimal care. Every human should have full and equal health care to anyone else. Any other case is unethical and immoral.
But dont try and say that everyone in the US has access to affordable healthcare. There are millions undernourished and sick here in the US. Look at our VETS for heaven's sake. We cant even treat them right!

Internal Memo Confirms Big Giveaways In White House Deal With Big Pharma
A memo obtained by the Huffington Post confirms that the White House and the pharmaceutical lobby secretly agreed to precisely the sort of wide-ranging deal that both parties have been denying over the past week.
The memo, which according to a knowledgeable health care lobbyist was prepared by a person directly involved in the negotiations, lists exactly what the White House gave up, and what it got in return.
It says the White House agreed to oppose any congressional efforts to use the government's leverage to bargain for lower drug prices or import drugs from Canada -- and also agreed not to pursue Medicare rebates or shift some drugs from Medicare Part B to Medicare Part D, which would cost Big Pharma billions in reduced reimbursements.
In exchange, the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) agreed to cut $80 billion in projected costs to taxpayers and senior citizens over ten years. Or, as the memo says: "Commitment of up to $80 billion, but not more than $80 billion."

'"You Lie" Congressman Wilson Paid $250K for His Outburst!'
That title is extremely misleading. Phrased like that, it sounds like he was paid $250K to do what he did when in reality, he has received over $250,000 in contributions from health professionals over the course of his career (not for this incident) as well as tens of thousands of dollars from others in the health industry:

One could argue that he was indeed paid - in instalments.
Slightly (!) misleading header, but considering that the industry has bought Wilson's allegiance it's not THAT misleading.
. . . on Friday, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs sketched a new position that goes even further than some conservative critics had demanded: Obama will oppose letting illegal immigrants buy insurance through new purchasing exchanges the government will set up - even from private companies operating within the exchanges.
. . . Illegal immigrants were to be allowed in the exchange and even in the public plan if they used their own money under legislation that passed three committees in the House and one in the Senate.
