Well thats also some kind of elitism.

Why only the sucessfull ones, and not EVERYONE?
So many things can go wrong when trying to run a business.Dont limit this to only a small group of people

I´d love to see the US back in the hands of its people.
But spare me the "beacon, to tell the world whats right and whats not."
Once again this would be some kind of tutelage, nobody really wants.

Zenagain -I've often thought exactly the same thing.
Who knows its got to be better than what we've got at the moment.

Yes... and we've seen how well our elected politicians deal with those issues now haven't we. Is having little knowledge of politics really such a bad thing? Is having no puppets around really a bad thing? Wouldn't a small but yet successful business owner have extended knowledge of economics? Social Policies pfft! You're right on the foreign policy side though. I wouldn't trust a random person with foreign affairs. That could be bad news bears!

Eh. I know this will actually never take place, but it does make a strange kind of sense to me. I think our Government was fine in the time when our Founding Fathers put it together but I just don't see it meshing well with modern realities. I don't see good things for our country in the coming years.

Take the country back from who? The corporations that pull the strings, design the wars, elect the politicians and control the infrastructure, control the military and the cops, Hire the people, create the jobs and essentially tell all of us where to jump and how high.



Now how are you going to do that? Stop buying stuff?
