Very Strange Campfire Picture

Greetings ATS, this will be my first post here on the site. Wanted to share with you guys a picture I took back in summer of 2006.

I was the one taking the picture and my cousin was working the fire. I told him to get the fire built up high and I will take a picture to see if we can see anything crazy in the picture.

But I will leave it up to you guys to look for yourself, some areas to browse, would be on the edges, top, center, fire pit, pretty much everywhere.

This photo has not been edited or photoshop, tell me what you guys think.

You need to download the image so you can zoom on various areas and you will start to see all sorts of things, alot of faces, people, etc. I recommend giving it at least a few minutes to look it over not forcing yourself to try to see anything just look at it for awhile.


Just wanted to add, me and my cousin made this fire a few months after my uncle / his dad died of a unexpected heart attack at the age of 45 at the farm where we made this fire and took the picture, so we both speculated the man in the middle of the fire was him.

I do think there is something eerily paranormal about this photo I took and im not just seeing things.

I don't want to say what I see all through the fire, I want to see what other members see in the fire.

For me I see a dragon, I'd guess.

Although I see bunnies in the clouds, and if i'm with a girl, I see the words sex in the clouds lol...

We can see varying things in everchanging parts, and especially in fire, remember satans face in the WTC plane crashes, yeah, same thing.

Fire is cool though, I like it, just don't like being burned...

Ok- I took another look and on closer examination it looks like a drunk Ent has fallen over after lighting its own fart.

To the first two smart asses on this thread - you didn't read this..?

I see what may be 'orbs' to the left...a figure of a child in the pit and like rep08 said, a dragon form from top to bottom...

It's a fire, plain and simple. A truly lovely fire though, to be fair. A fine, fine fire.

gray face at the top left


man in the center with a cross, also looks like a reflecting face to the left inside the head with the cross


looks to me like a man in a robe with there hand praying to the man with the cross


petruding face to the right of the guy and cross



anyone familar with the spitfire logo for skateboards looks similar to this guy n the fire



face at the top of the fire looks like its eating the gray face or something



weird face in the fire pit

What I do see is a person with no sense of humour, that take themselves way to seriously, try hanging out with Ents, they know how to party.

That's seems about it...

download the images I cropped from the original picture and zoom and look at them before saying no just looking at the unzoomed, you cant see much detail at that level.

It's all a stretch...and what I see is still Pareidolia...but this was fun.

I dunno people have seen the same images, and theres numerous faces I forget how many total I counted + the praying guy, and the guy with the cross, seems for such a small fire alot of different things in it, pretty interesting considering I took a few other pictures of fire that same night and didnt find anything in them

(Sweats...) Is this a test? (looks at the fire hard)

nice looking, whatever it is.

you can see a hand with what seems to be a robe draped over, up to a neck and defined face on the left hand side of the fire above that is a weird spitfire guy, and of course to the right is a head with a cross in it, there seems to be a hand holding a cross sideways.

also it looks like the hand is holding something not very defined

The JPEG info says the pic was taken in 2003, you say 2006, which is it?
