Well I stumbled upon this web site and found it to be an excellent resource that covers allot of what we look for here in the survival forum.
Have you found a great general resource you would like to share ?

Pioneer Living
It's also an online magazine, repository and has local links to the Preppers network.
They are linked by State,Province and Country (Canada & US)
Pioneer living

Prepper.org is a public information site for those who wish:
to learn about what preppers are
and to learn about the prepper movement,
to promote the prepper networks and their supporters

Preppers

I think the information will help build and provide resource materials for us here at ATS.

My Favorites are:

1. Frugal's Forums:

Requires free registration to view forums but wow are they packed with everything you need to know. From homesteading how-tos to farming/gardening to firearms and blades to patriot alerts and so much more. I am on at least once a day and never can get through all the information. The How To Photo Gallery is my favorite. Pic by pic on slaughtering animals, setting game traps, cooking, making ovens and tools, raising animals, etc. It's just too much good stuff.

2. Homesteading Today:

Covers all the farming/gardening/animal raising and care as well as basic homesteading info like food preservation, soapmaking, beekeeping, sewing/quilting, barter, alt energy, alt healthcare, etc as well as a section on emergency and survival.

There are a couple of others somewhere in my bookmarks, but those 2 pretty much cover everything that is elsewhere, consolidated in 2 easy links.

I don't normally give a plug to any commercial magazines as I figure that one can always just browse the magazine racks to find what interests them.

This magazine I found in a hospital gift shop of all places, and am stunned at the information found within. This is not huge, nor is it filled with ad's from large companies, but information is where it shines. No electronics here, and no fancy ways of sprucing up your kitchen either, just solid advice and plans for building, well almost anything.

If you can find it near you, I would suggest giving it a read..well worth it in my opinion.

Another great Youtube person is beast12101 who pretty much sums things up, however he tends to focus on gear and equipment more so than things like techniques, permaculture, gardening, etc.

And for the podcast fans the weekday show The Survival Podcast, which I am a huge fan of. Spirko has done a lot to help improve the image of Survivalists and Preppers in the media, and that is something anybody can appreciate, especially those of us who have been slighted for our thinking in the past.

~Home Canning~

Are you interested in home canning but don't know where to start ?
Is it really that hard?
Where do I get supplies?

Homecanning.com

Get ready for one of the few simple pleasures in life. Home Canning. It's the perfect way to share your favorite tastes with family and loved ones. From a sassy salsa to award-winning chili, not to forget irresistible fruit jams, jellies, and whatnots

Canning local

Canning food in your own home is a safe and rewarding process that is becoming popular again as food prices soar and people realize they need to pay attention to securing their food supplies. Preserving food with home canning is an excellent way to increase your consumption of local food. Eating locally requires eating foods when they are in season, and canning allows you to capture the bounty of any particular crop in season and extend its availability throughout the year.
