I don't buy it. There was a thead maybe a month ago. This lady said she
went to the store, in her suburban town. While she was there, this freak
storm gathered and knocked out the power. She described how nasty people suddenly got when faced with a little fear and
inconvenience.
Then a few nights ago i saw The Mist Steven King. The whole scene she described was right there for me to watch. Unbelievable the things
some people will do for the slightest little attention. I guess it takes all
kinds.
Wouldn't even be so bad if they could at least be original.

One of my signatures that is an original, I think applys.

You can tell how ignorent someone is.
By how ignorent they think everyone else is.

Space Cadet. You need to call the police - period. No ifs, ands or buts. Call them immediately. Now. This is not something to be nonchalant about.

Who cares if your boss does not like it. You must look out for yourself first.

You do not know what this person is capable of. You could be putting your life and your customers lives in danger. You have valuable information and you are not reporting it.

Call now. Please.

Edit: I just saw your update. You need to call the police every time an incident like this happens.

Good luck. Stay safe. Many creeps out there. I encountered one yesterday. Thank God I live in a CWP state

We do not have caller ID, it is a switchboard and the only numbers it ID's are room numbers. We do have security cameras and doors, you must have a room key to get in the back or side doors, and the lobby doors as well after 11....but the guy was caught on camera already, the pictures were not that clear though due to his distance from them. He obviously either doesn't know they are there or doesn't care....Mainly because you can clearly see the damn things!
While I was off of couple of days he was getting bold and calling in the daytime, this time a police report was made.... My manager has told us now to call and report it each time he calls too....

Wow, this is not a good situation. Know this is a little old, but any news since then? I used to work at a hotel myself, second shift, and can guarantee you I would have had the cops out fast over something like this. When they took a report, did they say they would patrol the area? If not, they need to get someone out there, plainclothes, preferably. Maybe the manager would even consider hiring someone, a PI or security specialist, to catch this freak. I would advice that you keep bringing the gun, and that anyone outside at night is extremely careful. This sounds like one that will escalate to me. Something else you might consider; he could follow you or others from work. Be aware all the time of any cars behind you, that stay there. Take weird routes home, even, and look for a tail. Tell coworkers the same thing, especially the women. Don't assume you are being paranoid if you think someone id following. Even a parking lot in the daytime can be a place for an attack/abduction. Don't park by vans or big SUV-type trucks, and be aware of who is around you. Contacting the phone company for a trace could be a good idea as well, or getting the police to do it. If he's on a cell, and they know the number, it's easy work to locate the guy.

Be careful; this one has a bad feel to me.

I was told about a trick that can keep evil people at bay is to take a picture of them or at least make the man feel that somebody's taking pictures of him.

You need to have your boss call the Caller Harassment Bureau of the your Telephone Service Provider and speak with them. They will tell him he has to go fill out a police report. I am not sure if the existing one will work or he needs a new one, but you can always give the police the existing report number to attach the two. Once that is finished you call back the phone company and give them their report information. Then when he calls you hang up, and immediately press a certain set of numbers on the phone to log it at the Phone Company (the they will give you instructions on how to do this). Those numbers then get reported back to the Law Enforcement Agency who you filed the report with. As the person is using a cell phone, it will not show up with either *69 or Caller ID, however, the police can triangulate a cellphone within a quarter mile of its source.

If they show up again, certainly DO NOT go outside like you did before to chase them, and certainly DO NOT try and confront them. BTW as another poster stated if you ever have to use your gun, ALWAYS fire center mass, even law enforcement officers are trained to do this with every shoot.
