From the submission page in the Breaking Alternative News forum:

(Must be the exact same headline as used in the news story you're submitting.)

And yet I still see people attacking the ops of threads in BAN because of the thread title. Why is that? General misanthropy?

If you have an issue with the title of a thread in the Breaking Alternative News forum, take it up with the person who wrote the source article, not the person who submitted the story. The op of a thread in BAN can neither alter the title, nor explain why that title was chosen for the article linked.

Rant over, thank you for your time.

One of mine from a couple of days ago: www.abovetopsecret.com...

I ran across the article on either Blacklistednews or Libertarian Reddit (can't remember which) and I just thought others might like to know they were being labeled 'domestic terrorists.' Who was doing the labeling didn't really matter to me, I find the label repugnant no matter who it comes from if it can't be backed with facts.

Didn't really think much about the title of the thread when I submitted it. Now apparently I'm a liar, and to hear some tell it, the person who posted the inflammatory remarks on the website to start with (and probably some sort of comic-bookish super villain as well, I quit reading the comments after a while).

I believe I'm following you out the politics door for at least a while, SD. BTS is so much less nerve wracking.

lol ... yeah, it's probably not a bad idea to stop talking politics in general every once in a while.

Though I have to say chit chat gets pretty intense too.

We almost had a major brawl break out on the topic of toe nails ...

Or was it flowers ...

Still, someone
someone else and it took almost three posts to get a group hug going.
