My flight wasn't delayed because of a broken light bulb in the lav, we just weren't allowed to use it. On three different flights, to three different locations, on three different planes(that I know of).

I couldn't possibly begin to imagine what the "conspiracy" would be, but these events seem to fit under "more than just a coincidence".
The news came a day after reports that the United Nations had advised staff not to fly Biman because of concerns over safety and flight delays.

So you think they shut down all the lavs on the planes to prevent a potential suicide bomber from going in there to blow up the plane?

. . .
Bombers? On a commuter jet over Nebraska?!? Hardly likely.
. . .
We're just extremely curious as to why three planes all had burned out light bulbs and instead of screwing in a new one (on all three planes) they went on and did not allow them to be used (on all three planes).
mikerussellus was talking with a passenger from a completely different flight (none that he was on) on the shuttle home who had the exact same thing happen on one of his flights.
Was the light out on the flight before? If so, why didn't they change it while passengers were boarding his flight? If not, did they change the light bulb when his flight landed? Possibly.
It's not like they just rush everyone off, then immediately start boarding the next flight. They take time to go through the cabin and prepare it for the next batch of passengers. They could have changed the light during that time.
