Has anyone ever seen anything like this! I have read many alternative media sources regarding bleeding statues and people who experience stigmata symptoms, but never anything as legitimate as this. Doctors are baffled, so is his family. I can not wait to see what type of diagnosis is reached on this case. Paging Dr. House...

maybe his tear ducts are torn. or he sticks pins in them every day to keep an open wound.

Probably too much true blood. Pins could easily explain that.

Wasn't there a movie where the bad guy leaked blood out of his tear ducts?

It was released a year or so ago. This kid probably seen that movie and thought it was cool. So he decides to stick a needle in his eye.

I sure hope this ain't an omen of some sort.

Maybe he is doing an impersonation of a Virgin Mary statue?

It could be slight swelling and tearnig in the brain, detaching the optic nerve from the retina, due to undiagnosed diabetes.

Hope it's nothing serious for the boys sake.

Sounds like wet macular degeneration. Granted, a 15 year old shouldn't have it, but stranger things have happened. I'm not sure that bleeding eyes is a common symptom for wet macular degeneration, but I know it happens because my grandmother has it in both eyes and they have been known to bleed.

Also, there are medications that can cause bleeding eyes.

AND, I will admit to NOT watching the vid because even the thought of watching someone's eyes bleed gives me goose bumps on top of goose bumps. Just ick. I have a weird thing with eyes anyway and bleeding eyes are just 1000 times worse.

My cousin doesn't smoke weed anymore, but only because it made him bleed from his eyes.

Sounds like a tear duct infection to me.

I doubt it is him sticking a needle in his eye though... Main reason is b/c if that was the case it would always be bleeding and regular tears would come out aswell. Very interesting though, I too hope its not somthing to terribly wrong... I mean the kid is only 15.

lol with mr bob...
I instantly thought of anti-thesis possibilities...bleeding from the eyes is supposed to mean submission to the Devil. Hopefully it's just a Casino Royale stunt and nothing serious. Ouch...talk about scare the neighbors !

Yargh! I just had to click on this thread. I dunno how many times now I've felt the need to rub my eyes because of this thread. Now I keep jerking around at the thought of it. So damn creepy. Poor guy, I hope it gets resolved. As a previous poster had said, anything to do with eyes is just...*shudder*

Damn curiosity.

Never heard that one before. And I may or may not know a lot of people who may or may not do that sort of thing.

haha, I live in BC. Over half the people in this province smoke weed and there's not a damn thing the government can do about it if they like their heads firmly attached to their shoulders

But it is a true story. Apparently when it happened, he pretended to be the devil and three of his friends ran into the bushes, one of which was never seen again

That would be something to cause a lot of people to quit smoking

I seriously doubt people would keep smoking it if they bled from their eyes but I know some who probably would. Then they'd say they enjoyed the blood pouring out of their eyes.

Yeah, around here people get locked up for minuscule amounts of weed. It's Stupid !!

I believe you, just never heard it before.

I think it was about 5 years back when I was at work, my boss was really giving me a hard time and I became really angry and after she walked away, I began to cry because I was so upset. A coworker came to me and tried to console me and while I was wiping my tears away, I noticed blood. She said I was bleeding and I ran to the restroom and saw a small amount of blood coming from my eyes. This really scared me and made me begin to cry more and my coworker was there with me and I was crying to her, asking her what should I do? I kept looking at my eyes in the mirror to see where it was coming from and then, it was all gone and I was just crying normal tears. It wasn't a large, scary amount of blood or anything but just to see a small amount was enough to freak the crap out of me. I thought it might have had something to do with stress from my boss and me maybe being at some kind of breaking point. It was an isolated incident...i even had forgotten about it until now but I'm one that holds things in and I had a really nasty, cold, militant boss and I didn't want her to see that she had upset me, nor did I want her to see me cry so I think the anger might have done it to me. maybe it has to do with high stress levels?? Just my thoughts and to let people know it's real but I only experienced a small amount of blood and it never happened again and I hope it never does. I come from a family with heart problems, cancer, and high blood pressure. I have high blood pressure now, at age 32, but I think at the time this had happened, I was in good health as far as I knew.
