Google Earth - Very strange things

Around a year ago I discussed some Google Earth anomalies with a fellow poster, we mentioned these but didn't really come up with anything solid. What do you think?

Airbase/Airport
The interesting thing about this is its incredibley remote location and the black censorship-like strikethroughs over the area. Maybe these could be shadows.

Light patch
A little left to the first image is this, a light patch. The odd thing here is that it looks a little like there are trenches around the edge of the square. I guess this is merely an imaging error.

Grid/Overlay
Also close by is this geometric pattern. On close inspection it seems like some sort of imaging error for sure but I included it because it's in the same area.

Tarmac(?) area and metal(?) structure - same shape
I find this strange. The two areas look the same shape, when zoomed in one looks like some sort of road, the other a fairly reflective roof. I have no idea. It's very strange they are both the same shape, very remote and in the vicinity of the other anomalies.

It would be good to hear any ideas.

Some of these were discussed in a thread a few months ago and determined to be bombing range targets. I'll try to find the thread.

However I do find them very interesting indeed. But the original thread died a death after just two pages. There are underground bases and all sorts in this area. But it would seam that no one knows much about it at all.

Nice one thanks, couldn't find anything myself.

I can agree with the bombing site for the first picture, but the others look like they do alot more than just take bombs. they look like they are actual runways, some weird ones at that.

I really can’t understand the lack of interest in these photos.

Bomb site I can not see it but then again I am no expert.

There is also another to the east that look very similar to what people are calling a bomb site.

These things are massive and what look at first to be runways are to way to wide to be runways. There are no support buildings, hangers, control towers etc, well above ground anyway. Also you can’t see anyway for an aircraft to get from underground to above ground. No apron for the aircraft.

There is a great deal of interest in Area 51 but seemingly very little in this. Which is surprising in that if the USA has a potential foe it is China.

Area 51 looks very mundane in comparison.

Totally, I agree with what you're saying. They're still of great intrigue to me and if I am ever close by I will try and take a look at them myself. I have a lot of questions, although I am undecided and could easily believe any 'official' explaination, after all if they're on GE then they can't be exactly secret.
I do hope they are there for some sort of mysterious reason though.

Ok I will post my reply on the original thread.

I have a lot of free time right now, so I was using Google Earth to wander around the Mojave Desert area and came across this:

35°20'33.03"N, 116°30'21.61"W

Anyone have any idea what this place is?

Also:

35°17'25.22"N, 116°20'56.70"W

And nearby that is the number 861 in the sand.

35°17'14.71"N, 116°21'36.91"W

Some other strange things in the area:
35°25'14.36"N, 116°24'25.24"W (a strange marking with a building to the NW)

35°21'57.52"N, 116°28'40.21"W (a lot of runways covered in sand)

35°21'27.03"N, 116°28'35.99"W (surrounded by the semi-covered runways is this circle)

Was wondering if anyone knew what any of these places were. I'm sure they are nothing sinister, but they are certainly interesting to look at. An area with a seemingly neverending amount of things to view.
