9 Earthquakes Hit Oklahoma in 24 Hours

A lovely picture here


What's going on here? Oklahoma having 9 EQs in the span of 24 hours... What an odd place for so many at one time.

I'm no Earthquake expert, so what do our resident experts have to say?

Interesting, USGS website does not show those earthquakes.

Probably just digging another DUMB.

That would be my guess .

Or maybe it's just that mother earth is getting tired of our ways.

I wonder how the maps would line up if covered with one that showed possible underground military installations.

I also can't help but think of a post I read on here about a ancient civilization under the caves at Cushman, AR (near the one spot on that map for Arkansas that's seen an EQ in the past week). I've lived in AR since '93, we usually get ZERO outta-the-norm activity out here.

I find it ironic, however, that we moved here from southern California to be rid of these EQ's....only to move to the biggest fault line ever (the New Madrid, plainly visible as a line of little EQ-dots on the map!) LOL!

No problemo...

When a "swarm" happens in a confined area, in a short time span, all around the same magnitude, it's hard to show them on a map of that scale...
