You say you want a revolution

There seems to be alot of talk of a second American revolution.
Americans distrust their elected officials. People believe corruption is ramped throughout their government. Americans are losing their jobs, their homes , their savings, their rights and libertys.
If there was a revolution and the people won.
What real changes would the people want to see ?
How should America handle issues at home and abroad ?
What about the Constitution ?

Yes, there is a lot of talk, just as before, when States left the Union in protest. Funny that history repeats itself, isn't it? I believe in the Constitution of 1787, and will stand to defend it against all comers, both foreign and domestic, just as I swore my one and only oath to a long time ago. I sincerely hope and pray that the State Legislature(s) will take up this banner, and that there will not be another bloody war. I often have to remind police officers of the oath, and several times I had to remind a Circuit Court Judge of the same thing. I don't understand how they can so easily forget, while I can never forget? BTW, love your handle, I too am an old Hippy, a Child of the 60s. Love and Light to you.

The revolution should be that revolution of returning to our original Constitutional document and stop the wholesale circumventing of those principles by elected officials. It doesn't have to be bloody, just a firm stance by the citizenry. The problem arises when what Plutarch warned us about takes place.

Personally I think if there is a revolution in America would simply end up resetting the federal government completely to a blank slate, and result in a decentralization of power to the states as originally intended by the constitution.

Alternatively I can imagine the US breaking up into a handful of socialist and libertarian factions, possibly similar to that one breakup chart on ATS drawn up by the Russian professor.

I would want the abundance paradigm to spread. For the few of you who do not know what that entails... I have a thread here that illustrates it (first link in my sig) and a FREE book (second link in my sig).

• We have plenty of everything except energy, as it stands now.
  
• Zero Point Energy ("free" energy) can be extracted from the vacuum
  
• Statistically speaking, we do not exist
  
• We now can create robots to do anything we don't want to do (or not enough of us want to do)
  
• With free energy and robots, we would be freed to do as our bliss moves us (within the three Laws)
  
• The three laws: Do not willfully hurt or kill another, do not willfully take or damage the belongings of another, and do not willfully defraud another
  

I think we can make it happen with a strong media icon and a good website (rather like ATS) as described in my thread at the first link in my sig.

---> Minimize the federal government. The federal government is the problem, not the solution. Anything the federal government does is highly inefficient. Transfer responsibilities to states where it belongs, and privatize where possible the remaining to increase efficiency.

The size of the federal government is frightening. There are 140 Million employed people in the US supporting a government how big? How many dollars per employee does it need to support the government without it borrowing money?

---> Follow the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution
"Amendment X - The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

The above would close most agencies which were unconstitutionally created by the Federal Government. Just following the constitution would dramatically reduce the cost of governance and the amount of money taken out of our salaries before we get our paychecks.

---> Stop all Federal social programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc) and let the states create their own

---> Flat Tax, be consistent, be fair. Stop applying Income tax to salary, the hours of my life is an exchange for salary, you can't tax my life. My job is not a business so it's not income, it's salary.

---> Enforce the entire constitution. Criminalize the creation of unconstitutional laws. Make the lawmakers think twice.

---> Balance the deficit, enforce fiscal responsibility.

---> Audit the Federal reserve, consider abolishing the federal reserve

---> Release the official birth certificate of Obama, put the issue to rest. Obama spent over $900,000 hiding the certificate, why? Until then he has not proven his eligibility. Similar to not having a social security number when applying for a job.

---> Require that presidential appointees pass a Top Secret SBI security background check before nomination

---> Require that elected officials pass a Top Secret SBI security background check before taking office or running for election

Unfortunately TPTB have taken it a step further. They brainwash the middle class to feel guilty about the wealth their hard work has brought them. and use "Socialism" as a form of religion to justify attacks on the middle class. Now we not only have the parasites living on the dole but liberals who see it as "their RIGHT" to confiscate others wealth to support what ever pet project they wish. Astronomers declaring "their right to starlight" and being taken seriously examplifies how far this disease has rotted the fabric of American life.

In I996 there were 22,543,000 in the government work force (fed only??) 4,880,037 on welfare and 2,000,000 elderly on #SS. We had only 13,632,000 in 1996 working in manufacturing down from 19,864,209 in 1970. That was before the World Trade organization exported at least 2 million jobs according to the 2005 report C. In other words we are really hurting because we have less than 12 million people creating "Real Wealth" for a total population of over 137 million. The rest are employed as shopkeepers, lawyers, accountants, management and burger flippers.

TPTB made sure they stripped the USA of its Manufacturing BEFORE they crashed the financial system and it was done on purpose. Starting in 1972 with Maurice Strong and the first Earth Summit. Strong's buddy, Rockefeller has been funding the "environmental" movement from the beginning and they are both hip deep in oil and the World Bank.
