Almost looks obvious, i'd like to see it on a Tivo or something.
I am willing to bet that if I made you sit down and watch that entire clip without informing you before hand of what to look for.
I could have asked you what you seen at the end, and Cialis ad's would not have been your answer. It only seems blatant because your perception going
into the viewing is open to the fact that an advert is going to flash. If your perception did not aknowledge that reality, you're conscious would
have almost never noticed it.
This is some of the clearest subliminal advertising I have ever seen.
Where it gets interesting, and what has always baffled me...
Is that it has been proven time and time again that subliminal advertising is only marginally effective versus in your face legitimate advertising. I
believe the first test of this was in old cinemas, they tested it flashing frames which said BUY SODA and BUY POPCORN, the response was meager
compared to when they just ran an advertisement for snacks and drinks at the concession.
Why legitimate products even bother using subliminal advertising really bewilders me. The only reason I can see for it, is when you have an
illegitimate message that you want passed subconsciously like THE DEVIL LOVES YOU, or something as bizarre as that. Legitimate advertising dollars are
spent much wiser on conscious advertising. But then again, what does 1 frame of an hour long show cost?
