Ok,
We will start explaining what happened.
My main rig's motherboard failed and as I was putting backup water-cooling on it, it broke.
(Both the motherboard and ccolIT alc domino.
My backup rig then got main rigs proc/ram/vid card/sound card, but OEM cooling.
( OEM cooling was not enough so I was required to remove the side of the case, to cool it off.)
Now, my RMA'd motherboard and new cooling unit have arrived.
I figured I would rebuild my backup unit first.
I removed the motherboard to put water-cooling brace on the back of the motherboard.
I put the entire system back together and booted her up.
(yes, computers are female)
I have cpuid Hardware Monitor to read all my temps.
With the side of the case back on (Q6600 processor, msi motherboard, 3 gigs ocz platinum ram, nvidia 7800 gt, blaster sound card, seagate 400 gig
hard-drive.
My idle temps are as follows:
Cores (All Four)@ 32-35C
Hard-drive@ 30C
Nvidia 7800 gt@ 42C
Granted, this is the temps after only 15 min, more as time goes on.
