And Fox was a propaganda arm of the Bush administration, if you want to look at it that way. (More like preaching to the choir to keep the ratings and advertising $ rolling in IMO, but whatever floats your boat...)

So what here is new?

Nothing - simply the partisan roles being reversed.

These statements are simple partisan bickering more than they are nationalism or group think... he is saying the Republicans are disagreeing for the sake of disagreement. I think so too and I'd almost say the same thing. I think Republicans disagree for the sake of disagreement. But then again so do the Democrats.

Look at legislation S604 for example... the bill is something that Democrat senators hesitate to co-sponsor more than Republicans do simply because it was a Republican who put forth the idea. In that case Democrats are "undermining America". Of course what they are really doing is being too subjective about things but its not totally unfair to use the phrase "undermining" though it is arguably an exaggeration.

I believe the solution is to move to get rid of the party system by voting and running as an independent when possible or even third party (so cross-party legislation will become more likely). The whole Blue Team vs. Red Team government system is one that sucks to an extreme degree. Its like a wrestling tag team where both partners have a similar goal but where they don't really work together because each one wants the credit for victory.

When you are on a team then what you want is for your team to have the victories. And the solution is to get off the team entirely because politicians should be thinking in terms of teams and should rather be thinking in terms of what is good for their constituents.

I don't recall Fox ever selling Bush t-shirts and trinkets or, Hannity aside, being so openly enthralled with Bush's policies like NBC does for the Obama administration.

I do agree about one thing though, there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the Democrats and the Republicans and, imho, they both need to be booted out and tried for treason.

Clearly you are purposefully misinterpreting THIS clip's information. The guy was clear! You are pushing an agenda, when all you have to do is find the clips that support your statements.

Ten other sources does not change that you are mistaken on THIS source.

Post those ten other sources while you are at it. You made your claim now back it up. Then of course you will say "I don't have to, you do it.", and in reality if you are going to go this far on this topic with your misinterpretations, nothing will convince you.

"Never argue with idiots, they will only bring you down to your level and will beat you with experience." A quote from Springer's signature that just came to mind.

MSNBC kisses the democrats buttocks

Fox kisses the republicans buttocks

Both manipulate the stories to support the people they have allegiance to. Neither are reliable sources of impartial news. They are nothing more than puppet shows. Both are partisan. Both create division and breed ignorance. Both are cancerous to the nation.

You're kidding, right? Did you ever watch Fox news?? That's all they did was sell Bush, Cheney, the right wing, republicans, and facist corporatism. Man, I'm an independent and watch both Fox and MSNBC. Both slant their news but Fox? The openly lied, misrepresented, and favored the Bush administration in every way. You didn't see that huh? LOL!!

So, what you're saying is it's ok for the left to make a bunch of noise but not the right? I'm not that old but I sure can remember quite a bit of protesting from liberal hippie types....

I don't think they like being beat with their own stick.

Right, but you all attacked Fox on a daily basis. The rest of the media )7 networks) regularly called them out. Now those same 7 networks are doing the opposite. You guys are such enormous hypocrites!

There you go bad mouthing the left when the right is just as And the funny part of all this is the very ones who cry , protest the loudest and complain are the first in line to partake.

No kiddng. My ILs are hardcore republicans. You can't even talk about how to make a decent shrimp salad without them turning it to smear Obama.

But dang if they didn't run down to the dealership to get that cash for clunkers rebate. Dang if they don't take advantage of every public option they can.

I wonder how many of the GOP are gonna collect medicaid and SS? Medicaid which the GOP screamed was socialism and would turn us into a socialist country?

Here is a brand new one from this morning. Mathews using Kennedy's death to compare Dallas to when Kennedy was assassinated. Again, pushing this narrative that those against Obama's NHC plan are some kind of crazed militia men who are going to attack the president.

Chris Matthews has used the passing of Ted Kennedy to paint opponents of Pres. Obama as a pool of potential assassins. -NB

I just wanted to see if you actually would. Great!

You still misinterpreted this clip. I saw that clip, your title misrepresents that clip, and there is no change in that. I will not argue with you.

I've noticed this to with dems and pubs. Not only in government but also in the public.

People act like you're a traitor or something if you agree with the opposite party on even one issue.

You're right... disagreeing on something simply because the "other side" agrees with it IS undermining the country for very selfish reasons.

ALL Sides of the spectrum are guilty of this.
