The US State Dept. has issued approval to a gigantic pipeline project to move product from northern Alberta's Tar Sands project to Wisconsin
concerns.
The topic is being well discussed in Environmental circles but I've yet to find any news beyond that.
If it is true we should be able to find something.
I thought this might or mightn't turn into something in the future and if it did, would prove worthy of a post now.

WASHINGTON, DC, August 21, 2009 (ENS) - The U.S. State Department has issued a permit for a multibillion-dollar pipeline to carry crude oil from
Canadian oil sands to refineries south of the border, triggering a court challenge from environmental and native groups.
On Thursday, the State Department issued a Presidential Permit to Enbridge Energy, Ltd. for the Alberta Clipper - a 1,000-mile/1,607-kilometer crude
oil pipeline that will run between Hardisty, Alberta, and Superior, Wisconsin.
