Boston FBI head: Police need assault rifles in case of terror attack

The top FBI agent in Boston said today that the Merino administration should revive a controversial plan to arm neighbourhood officers with semi-automatic assault rifles, saying the scarcity of such weapons on the force makes Boston more vulnerable to a terrorist attack similar to the 2008 rampage in Mumbai, India, that killed 166 people.

This is really scary imo, what type of rampage are they expecting? And by who? Or Is this just more propaganda to make you think twice about protesting. It's funny how the other day, President Obama announced the war on terror was officially over...

Obviously not.

It's bad enough that these fools are armed with tasers. Now assault rifles? Ummm, I hope not.
