Can he heal the sick for real??

A Couple of years ago I saw a show about Kobus van Rensburg on Carte Blance

(a South African journo program).

On the program they slated him for being a fake and told the whole South Africa that

he was stealing his followers money and was a fraud.

He claims to be doing miracles and that he can heal the sick...

I thought it might be interesting to see some ATS opinions on the subject.

healers do not seek attention like this guy apparently does. most healers are required to live outside of the community that they belong to and are outsiders, misunderstood and go out of their way to avoid attention.

too many red flags.
fraud IMO

healing others especialy from back pains or something easy like that is easy,alot of people have healing powers. but i dont know this guy,maybe hes a fraud

Do you have any links to these people who have "healing powers"... how is it

easy to heal someone from back pain without medication or physical

stimulation???

It does sound like he is a fraud, but the video's suggest otherwise.

Could the sick people simply be actors??

seen several similar occurances on Religious channels where people are

healed in public.

I would love to be a healer and share my gift... dont see why I'd avoid

attention, we need to see these things, not true??

i for one have healing hands, you just put your hands on someones place of pain,and your hands get hot,and they feel better,then you wash your hands and done.im not telling you to believe me,but its a lot more real and easy to believe this then astral travel,which is also possible.

i dont know if healing powers can be explained throw mutation of dna but i think that way.its liek you absorb the bad energy and the warmth in your hands heals and lessens the pain

What do you do when you heal someone?? Do you focus your energy?? Do you imagine them being healed??

i understand your point and i do not disagree with you. what i meant by avoid attention is self promotion. if a healer is genuine, then people will go see him/her. he/she will not need to make videos to prove/disprove anything.

there are lots of different things at play here and depending on the culture/religion of the native healers, others will no doubt see a lot of their actions as taboo, or, "devil worship."

well,i guess u should imagine white energy or something,i just pray with love and stuff
i usualy cure back aches or headaches maybe,i dont really use my powers that much,im afraid ill hurt someone,but this is stupid,its stupid not to use your powers
my hand gets warm just from touching someone,i guess couse im afraid what i will do.but usualy when u exaust your powers,ur hands get cold,and after a while ur recharged and rdy to heal again

That sounds pretty intense... it would be a shame to hide your powers if you

have them. You should really try doing it more and practice it so that you

might be able to heal even bigger illnesses!

When you heal someone... is there a feeling of energy flow from your body

to the next?? Can you heat up objects?

He very well could use actors... Criss Angel style... or even better it is not hard to convince people you have actually done something for them... people are easily manipulated.

Or possibly he actually does heal with some satanic energy? If it were divine he would not publicise for fame and would not charge or sell books... he should be humble and compassionate (free). That is how you tell the true saints are. Profiteers are just greedy
