So Hyundai Group can negotiate an easing on border restrictions for 'tourism' reasons but global powers cannot accomplish anything anywhere near that? Or maybe Clinton got under the desk for a change?

Good......now maybe the people of the North can catch up with the world and get to experience more of life's greatness, like the S. Koreans get too..

I feel sorry for the North....They are like prisoners in their own country.....

I have a few problems with it.

One, I can not believe Kim wants his people to know how other people live.

Two, Kim does not really want the outside world tom know just how bad it is in N.K.

These make opening the border and trade a bit difficult, eh?

This won't make a scrap of difference to those in the North unfortunately, they will still be imprisoned within their own country.

The easing of border restrictions is one-way; i.e. those from the south (and those from other countries) can go into certain areas in NK, as well as operations at a couple of the industrial parks are being resumed as normal.

So nk out of the kindness off their hearts will open their borders BUT will attack any perceived threat.Guess what nk?No one needs your buisness.

It would seem that Kim is losing it and wants to show strength when he's at his weakest. It really is counterproductive to have these war game simulations at this point. NK wants to sleep with the same people that made China an economic power.

I agree that may be Kim's view of life.

However, I always felt that one shows the most strength by not showing it.

In other words, the weak need to constantly bark and threaten (think tiny dog barking).

The truly strong need not do that, they can afford to act kindly and softly(speak softly , but carry a big stick).
