I wonder if we could put up an antenna of sorts in Venezuela and capitalize on the energy of those storms.

I remember seeing something on Discovery Channel about lightning potentially being a great source of electricity, but that the problem is not knowing where the next lightning storm will occur. Venezuela would seem to solve that problem nicely.
