Three storms appear in the Atlantic Ocean in a matter of days. Is this the sign of things to come. Is this global warming or is it just natures course? Three storms appear to look like rapid fire coming off the African coast to a tune of scatter and fear purchasing at local groceries and food markets all along the East and Gulf Coasts.

The Market will soon be good again for hotels and motels. Sadly, the fly by night contractors whom are good for nothing will soon again be stalking desperate people in need of repairs.

One more thing folks, lets keep this forum classy and exclude the shamful political remarks.

Al Gore is a tool and Global Warming is a lie so Politicians have an excuse to finally tax breathing.

My two-cents.

IMAO, The bottom line never really works. Really if I wanted an award for making a big discovery concerning the coriolis effect, I think alot of egotistical scientist would quickly claim it as their idea before I could reach the stage. Oh, and by the way everybody, I invented the internet. LOL.

Maybe HAARP, but definitely not Global Warming.

I don't really see anything unusual with three storms forming. It happens all the time during hurricane season, most of the systems that they tag could turn into storms or not, a lot of them just turn out to be regular weather systems not hurricanes or tropical depressions. That is of course my opinion.

Hurricane Ike was no cupcake. The recession seemed to get even worse right after the storm hit the Houston / Galveston area. So tell me folks, would another direct hit by a category three or higher on another major seaport make the economy worse, ever increasing government spending, disaster after disaster?

A tropical storm is bearing down on us, it formed overnight!

That makes it 3 in just a few days.

Last week I was talking with my GF about how we haven't even had one tropical storm yet. There was a lot of fear mongering after Katrina and how the storms seasons would get worse.

The system, still a tropical depression, was about 125 miles south-southeast of Apalachicola, Florida, at 8 a.m. ET, according to the center. It was expected to reach tropical storm strength by Sunday afternoon.

We really need the rain but not like this. It seems everything leans on the extreme these days, especially hurricanes. I dont think the economy is going to fair well with any major direct hits this year. As if we have the money to rebuild. God forbid we line up for more loans.
