About who Howard Storm is and why should you care:

en.wikipedia.org...

A short video explaining his whole experience (he is on a TV show so its short - 10 mins):
www.youtube.com...

And now the main course:

Howard Storm - The Nature of Jesus Christ:
video.google.com...

Here is some notes I made from the video. But it has way more info in it so take a look.

God: incomprehensible.

Therefore: enter Jesus Christ

God: "I want to show people my true nature"

Jesus ---> The answer to "If God were a man, what kind of man would he be ?" (what would he do, how he would act, etc)

Jesus Christ - 2 aspects about him:

Jesus
- good man - so profundly *simple*, loving, and good
-the other ppl had a probl w him bk it reminded them
of their own sinfullness and *complexity*

Christ
- the spirit of God, drawing us back to God (the Holy Spirit ?)

Jesus
- he is a practical example of a good man
-(an example to follow that is)
- he is the way, he is the light, he is the way

Follow him = follow in his footsteps

A quote from the video:

"Nomatter how much I mess up, if the heart is sincerely trying to follow the example then i am ok"

Jesus said, If you had believed in Moses, you would believe me because he spoke of me.
Moses said there would be one like him.
How many people try to be like Moses?
Well maybe some, but that's weird.
Jesus was like Moses because God appointed him to that role, not because he was trying to emulate the man.
We should be kind and helpful and trusting in God, like Jesus, but I think our responsibility ends there, as far as how we need to be like him.
Jesus left us here and went before us into heaven, so he is not around continuously to be an example. We need to learn for ourselves, through the help of the Holy Spirit, how to act.
