Isn't it amazing that when protesters were screaming about the Bush administration, she said that she was fully supportive of them, but now all of a sudden, when average Americans protest, they are un-American?

Well, actually, it is not amazing. This is typical of this poor excuse for a human being.

You didn't read it right. What you heard is wrong, what you saw is wrong. . .shhh, go back to sleep, this is just a dream, this is just a dream.

The next thing this administration is going to try is that old Jedi "mind trick".

-wave arm- "You have complete trust in the government."

S&F for exposing hypocracy.

Obviously it was a video mash up of quotes taken out of context. Surely she would not praise those that support her cause and denounce those that do not. Why that would make her unfair and two-faced.

Next thing you know she will take trips to foreign and speak to leaders in establishing some sort of deal or "treaty" or accept awards or conferences from world leaders like the Pope which would far overstep her Constitutional duties as the Speaker of the House.

No, she wouldn't do anything like that.

Maybe she meant she only supports disruption when it suites her purpose.

Hypocrisy at it's finest!

Thanks Nancy!

I hate Faux News, but this clip needs MAJOR airtime!

And this is why the word "politician" is defined in the dictionary as "hypocritical liar".

I am glad that Nancy is showing how politics really works.

Excellent find man.
The double standard is maddening.

Thank you for all of your responses. I've starred all of your responses. It is amazing that she is still the Speaker of the House. I'm sure that even Democrats are getting sick of her. She has to be a liability to them. If her constituents re-elect her next year, they are the biggest fools in America.

If you look at her district that she represents, you may come to the conclusion that they are. Or you may conclude that she represents them well.

Amazingly enough UC Berkley is in the 9th District. Right across the water, but by all means draw your own conclusions.

I am well aware of her district, but that is even more reason for them to be very concerned, as she is harming her party's image for the rest of this country. Given the nature of her district, and their propensity to protest what other people in this country consider outside the average person's zone of comfort, I would think that attacking any protest, as un-American, would be aimed even more so, at them, and their legitimate right to protest. The home city of the origin of the "Flower People" have a history of protest against the government. The cause may be different, but the concept of freedom to express views is not.

But then again she is attacking protesters of causes that they would more than likely not support...of course if taken out of context and presented as attacking any protesters in general, there could be backlash.

As soon as you used the word politician, your other words became redundant. Although most politicians are what you describe, those that deny Americans the right to disagree with their views, are worthy of Dante's 9th level of hell.

Hyperbole aside, if were going to start a thread every time a politician lies, cheats, is unethical, or acts like a jackass, we're going to be wasting a lot of server space.

Carry on I guess.

Then again, I guess you could say that every time someone sees a UFO, and posts it, the same is true, likewise for 9/11 threads, health care threads, and just about any other topic, for which there are hundreds of threads.

Of course, Pelosi is kind of "special". She is the speaker of the house, and this speaks for her Democratic cohorts, so her special lying, cheating, unethical and jackass antics, as you say, deserve special individual consideration. She controls the agenda in the house, and thus, deserves that special place in Dante's 9th level.

True enough ...

I see now that your intentions are pure, unbiased, and virtuous. That your only ambition is to hold our elected officials to the highest standard our republic deserves.

I look forward to your upcoming threads exposing such blasphemous hypocrisy from all sides of the isle.

You don't need to wait for a new thread for that. Related to this issue, for eight years, the Bush administration did nothing to advance reform of health care. Now all of a sudden, they are pushing their form of the bill. Where were they during the 6 years of the Bush administration that they controlled Congress? Their hypocrisy is just as bad as Pelosi's.
