This girl can’t change the past.
Neither can we.
Nor can anyone bring back the millions of lives brutally and horrifically lost.

But look what she does with the pain...

Truly an example of how humans rise above, and go on to live, and to conquer the past...

I hope more people add to this thread, add more examples the extraordinary ways the human Spirit does and will rise above.

Ways how the human Spirit will shine through.

Examples of free minds that can never truly be enslaved unless you allow yourself to become a slave.

Examples of how the Human Spirit (can) deal with adversity, and how to live with the pain when there’s no changing the past.

If this is not an example of the human psyche in all it's glory, I don't know what is.

Germany’s Invasion of the Ukraine - Like you’ve never seen it before...

Enjoy...

Here in the south I have always been told 'that which does not kill us can only make us stronger'. There is a lot of truth in that saying.

There in the South, or anywhere for that matter.

You're so very right. Whoever told you that is very wise and I thank you for passing it on to this thread.

We need so much HOPE right now, and faith that no matter what happens we can and will rise above whatever adversity comes our way.

Thanks again

Growing up, I thought I had the worst life. Although my life was not so peachy compared to some people, it also was far from the worst compared to other people. Alot of people, in fact. I have met people here in the States that have been through the worst you can imagine (in the States that is). But when I first took a look at the living conditions of most third world countries, I quickly realized how privileged a person is to even be homeless in the States.

Our world is a nightmare by design. And I agree with silo. Perhaps it is hope that is needed to make this world better. But we must remember that hope is nothing more than an Idea unless acted upon.

Very good point Toodles.

So you've survived. Isn't that a testimony in itself!

Peace!
