NWO theories of societal takeover are nonsense... here is the real danger

Look... I've seen the news about Northcom and military moving into the US.

You know why? It's not because of some giant takeover of TPTB to round us all up and ship us off to internment camps when we rise up against some political mandate.

It's because the Pentagon is scared witless of the ramifications of climate change.

Mass migrations, geo-political destablizations etc.

This is why.

See while so many argue over if it's real or not, what causes it, etc. Our Gov is actually thinking about "What should we do about it to prepare". And providing the ability to maintain order will be a huge requirement in those times.

Crises such as drought, violent storms, mass migration and pandemics could topple governments, feed terrorist movements or destabilize entire regions

so we are facing a swine flu pandemic, and if it gets out of control the WHO will issue its own 'procedures' and martial law could occur. This seems like the most reasonable hypothesis for such military movement within the US. The other would be, that they are all just returning back from Iraq.

The government is going to take on nature? Talk about having an ego.

nonsense? tell that to all the presidents that keep repeating the phrase 'new world order' as if it were some sort of spiritual mantra.

what is meant by "prepare"? "maintaining order", sounds right. still they try to control the situation.

of course they are getting panicky. control freaks do that when things don't go their way.

The NWO is real in that it is an inevitable conclusion of incresing government, (one which is increasingly controlled by corporate interests) along with the destruction of the smaller economies to be eaten by the corporate.

Most of the corporate identities you see every day are owned by another, and in turn that is owned by another, and in turn...
It is like a giant pyramid with a few select groups at the point of it.

The parts I don't follow about the NWO scenario are...

1. The idea that this has been in the planning for over a century. These "bankers" couldn't give a rats ass what happens to people down the line, they wouldn't put all of this in place for their successor to benefit. Where is the motivation to start all this in the hope that one day, some guy far off into the future can sit on a pile of money and laugh at all the poor people? It's not feasible or probable in any way.

2. "Imprisoning" the public in camps and so on does nothing for the economic growth and wealth of a nation. It would also render them open to complete invasion by an opposing force.

Having said all of that, I also believe that governments survive by becoming bigger. One of the easiest ways to beat an economic problem like the one we are in would be to hire the public in massive numbers to be civil servants, growing the governmental power exponentially until almost everything is under the control of the state and massive numbers of people under the employ of the government in one capacity or another.

It's like a perfect spiral, massive unemployment requires jobs, government creates jobs, in infrastructure, manufacture, agriculture... At the same time, businesses are failing, so vital elements are taken control of by government "to maintain standards of living".
While the economy falters, new threats become clear from outside forces. What would be a better time to attack than while your perceived enemy is limited in their response or weakened economically and socially? So the response to this is to create many more jobs in military areas.

I don't think the NWO is something to be immediately worried about. What should be the focus is avoiding going down the path of becoming a Fascist nation.

The environment is a non-issue in this current climate. The US is not traditionally bothered by the fears of global warming.

I maintain that the US government knows full well that the $ is dead already, you just don't know it yet.
There probably is a contingency plan, but that will scare the public immensely.

Can you imagine if you were told tomorrow that your money is no longer worth the paper it is printed on?

They are not trying to "Take on nature" They are trying to maintain order while nature steam rolls us.
