Has anyone heard about this new movie?

I was in the cinema watchin The Ugly Truth and the trailer for Gamer came on.... It looks so savage.

Gerard Butler stars in it. Its basically about an online game in which participants can control humans as players. Death Row inmates are used as the players I think. Any inmate who survives 30 matches wins their freedom from deathrow!

A lot of that movie was shot here in New Mexico. I was an extra/driver in that film. www.imdb.com...

Im really on the fence about this one. We got Michael C Hall and Luda in the movie, who i enjoy, but the whole controlling people in a videogame seems really out of left field. Ill have to see how the "gamer" universe functions with this game and ill decide if i like it.

Obvious question:
How does the gamer connect to the player? Telepathy???


IDK it just seems like a big gimmick to make an action film.
I'll wait for this one to come to TV.
